Sounds good, but you can never trust a trailer. I really wanted an open world game, with normal zombies that just walk with a few exceptions, like a fallout, you could meet new groups, have different endings, decisions, etc.

Same! Kind of like a mix of telltale's choice system mixed with the open world of fallout. Hell, they could even throw in a settlement system where you run your own place, recruit other survivors and stuff.

My friend was telling me that you get to make your own character and Aiden is just a companion, but then again my friend is wrong about everything because he listens to rumours instead of facts ? would still play Aiden tho
I really think that's the only way to go for an open world TWD. Too much zombie killing is bad. Not enough zombie killing is bad. Same goes for the story. Not sure what the story is for Overkill's.

I'll definitely play it. It looks interesting for sure. Just don't want another Survival instinct. If they're going to do this right. They need to have a solid story, scarce weapons and ammo, and food and water need to be a factor.
I don't wanna be killing millions of walkers just so this Aidan guy can find his family. I want him to find his family, turned. Deal with that in whatever way. Find other survivors, and a place they can defend. Have his own people turn on each other. And a lot of other stuff that hasn't been covered yet.
If this game is set at the turn of the apocalypse, then they have a ton of story. But I swear, if at the end of that scene we have to kill like 10 walkers with just that bat, this game isn't going to be good.
Im not the biggest fan of first person view games so I probably won’t. It looks good, it will obviously be a million times better than Survival Instinct

This was my first reaction and my comment on a reddit thread for this trailer, the response was downvotes and: "honking the horn is smart because that way he wont be surprised by hidden walkers"
Well yeah, but you also just attracted every walker in the area
I am pretty excited to see what this is going to be like, i was hoping for actual gameplay rather than a pre-rendered scene when i saw they where giving us news, hopefully we get more information next year at PAX and E3.

PUBG mixed with NPZ's.... Can't wait! I just hope that if they allow Melee attacks on zombies that they take some notes from the analog combat they used in Dead Island. I would love to be able to control which direction I can swing my bat!
You gents are aware of State of Decay right? Basically an answer to your dreams and then some. https://youtube.com/watch?v=1ljRGIDGdwU
That's the sequel coming out next year, probably right around the same time that Overkill's game is coming out actually. I'd definitely recommend trying the first State of Decay some time as well, the year one version with all of the DLC added on goes on sale occasionally for ten bucks during Steam sales, it's a steal imo.
Personally, I'm going to wait a bit for Overkill's game, never played PayDay 2 myself so I don't want to pay 60 bucks to tread into unfamiliar territory.
Well, I dunno. I was hyped for it but after so many delays, I started to care less about it. It looks good though. I'll probably try it unless it gets bad reviews cause I love zombie games, it will probably be like Left 4 Dead or Dying Light (Without parkour).
Also, I feel like the only one who enjoyed Survival Instinct, not because of Daryl, because I thought it was fun and it was scary at some points. But yeah, it was kind of fustranting I agree that this game is going to be better. If it flops after so many delays, there are no excuses for that.
Trailer looks pretty damn cool. I like the transition from past to present day. Going to have to wait and see if the game itself is any good though and what the gameplay is like. CGI trailers aren’t always accurate of the final product. Remember Dead Island?

That would be a dream game

TWD+Fallout=Perfection.

The graphics are fantastic! So, there's that. Yeah, I'd buy this game. Is it available via steam?

Not completely sure, but I'd assume it would be! I don't think they'd wanna leave out that many people.
As long as it doesn't have the AMC logo on it, that's probably a good sign Yeah... Survival Instinct was not a high bar...

The game is being made by Overkill so i expect it to be similar to the Payday games.

It's story was shit, but the combat gameplay was awesome. Because of how good the gameplay was, I still play it to this day.
Not a gent...but this game looks like it will be mine next year.
Howdy, Lilac! Yeah, I never actually played it, but I heard it was a pretty mixed bag.
Idk. I don't like first person so ill need to think about it
looks good but I won't make my mind till i see some gameplay
There's rumors saying that it's gonna be third person but I don't know for sure.
