Would you like Daryl and Merle to show up season 4 of Telltale Walking dead?
We got Michonne in her own minni series and Glenn was in the first season with Lee. What about Daryl and Merle making an appearance in the final season of the walking dead video game?

The game takes place in the comics universe, not the show. Michonne and Glenn in the game are entirely different from the ones in the show. Daryl and Merle don't exist in the comics universe.

Who says they don't exist? The group maybe just didn't come across them in the comic but maybe they still exist somewhere
No. Nope. NOOOOOOOOOOOPE. Bringing in outside characters from other mediums will not work for so many reasons. Players will already know who they are and illogically treat them differently (ie. Jesus in ANF), they will know there is no chance of them dying (ie. Ramsay in GoT), and they will be irrelevant to the plot and mainly intended to bring players to the other mediums.
Plus the tv show is imploding upon itself due to horrible writing; Telltale should keep s4 completely separate from the show and even comics if they want any hope from the fans.
Robert Kirkman actual stated he plans to add Daryl to the comic eventually.
Well, he made an April Fools joke about it and then said that he will never add Daryl to the comics.
Just because you like those characters doesn't mean they should be in someone else's story. They don't exist in comicverse. Jesus was good idea for him to be in the game and that never worked.

Robert Kirkman himself when interviewed about Daryl. He’s said it multiple times. He also said there’s no plans of introducing Daryl in the comics so the TV show can be it’s own thing.

There is no way he is worse than Andrea (TV), Gabriel, Nicholas or Lizzie etc. Overrated? Maybe. Bad character? Far from it.
He’s not the worst, that’s going too far. There has been loads of worse characters in TWD (like TV Andrea, TV Lori, and Eleanor). Daryl had good moments in the series and about 90% of them were just him being badass. That’s about it. So I can see why you think he’s bad, but he’s not the worst.

I think he's really overrated IMO, also I feel like tv Andrea is not that bad, she's completely underrated in the show IMO.
Daryl is overrated, I agree with that. TV Andrea was bad in S1 and especially S2. Imo she redeemed herself in S3 when she meets The Governor.

The comic universe doesn't need a Daryl. It has a Dwight.
On a kind of related note, what do you guys think of Death Stranding?
It gives me a lot of questions. Is it going to be an open world or survival horror? Looks great though, I hope this is the first game starring Norman Reedus to success, TWD Survival Instinct kind of failed and Silent Hills was cancelled. I want to see some gameplay.
That's my main issue with what we've seen so far. The game could be a platformer for all I know. I want to see some gameplay.
