Really, Telltale?
So here I was replaying the first season to prepare for the Final Season, wanting to walk through the whole series. I got to the 400 days then the game crashed halfway through. Well, typical Telltale i thought. And then my save files are gone. The saves are still in the folder, but the game obviously cannot see them. I am so frustrated with you right now Telltale. You can shove your Final Season up you know where, until the solution is found to this problem for 5 years old fucking game.

If you're using Steam then that MIGHT explain the issue. Its not so much a problem with the game so much as it's a problem with Steam. What u wann do is to navigate to the "My Documents" folder, then "Telltale Games", "The Walking Dead";
Copy prefs.prop; Go to the Steam folder, then: steamapps\common\the walking dead\Pack\default;
And then Paste it there.
Don't be surprised if you have this problem again, because Steam coding doesnt exactly agree with TWD Game.

A lot of people have had this issue before. If this fix didn't work u may need to go to the steam forums, surely ONE of those fixes should work.
