400 Days underrated
Replaying this dlc, I just think it's fantastic. The atmosphere is incredible and the characters were interesting and relatable. It's a shame we didn't get a spinoff game or something with these characters due to what happened in Season 2.

Is it? Cause I definitely recall a thread where someone was going on about how the 400 Days Group were "just better" than anything in Season 2 and how some characters could've been replaced. And a number of posts of people reminiscing on the DLC and how great it was.
Also, according Pierre Shorette, they actually were gonna do more with the Roadside Campfire Group, but it eventually became a resources and time issue.
I think 400 days is overrated
I never really understood why people liked it so much to be honest. I didn’t really connect with the characters and the since we don’t interact with them at Howe’s Hardware, it didn’t really help.
It's a bunch of short stories it's not like you can connect on a deeper level. It worked well as a tease for s2. It was certainly much better than Michonne.
I know they were short but in that time I thought they were kinda boring and didn't help any excitement for season 2 personally.
Meh, I liked Michonne alot more because it had actual characters on screen for more than 10 minutes
True.
Personally, I'd say 400 Days is a send up variety show that has it's subjective moments
Yeah, I dont dislike 400 days, I just think it was a wasted opportunity, they could have had small 1 or 2 hour episodes for every character, so we would get more invested in their story IMO
I was surprised how much season 2 music was reused from 400 days. It does have incredible atmosphere.
lol then people would have been even more pissed about their treatment in season 2
It did? Like the father who dies as soon as you meet him, the brother who dies as soon as you meet him, the daughters who are just ghosts? Pete who disappears for most of the game? or sam who's unconscious for half the game?
yes, such supporting cast, much wow.
except michonne has no moments
Yeah, seriously.
You're exaggerating, don'cha think?
Ah come on, there were definitely a few things to like and enjoy about it. Granted, that's true about pretty much anything, but the point remains.
Why do I get this feeling like people just hate on that Miniseries for the fuck of it?
No, I am not. It's terrible, absolutely terrible. Such a forced, contrived plot. And cringy as fuck intro sequences. And we already talked about the annoying bait-and-switch with the mystery of her daughters never being resolved.
It doesn't even tie into the comic, really. Just a waste overall.
Eh, you kinda were. Aside from the daughters and determinately Pete, that stuff had at least a little more time and effort than you're implying.
Eh....somewhat? Idk, I feel like they gave just enough information to set that thing up in a way that's pretty believable given the setting. I mean, sure, while the resolution was definitely lacking, I liked the basic conflict itself.
Oh, this again.
Eh, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure it was meant to be one of those things where the idle itself isn't important, it's how the main characters feel about and respond to it that matters--Michonne feels regret about not being there to protect her daughters(because fuck the other guy, apparently) and the final scene in the burning house was meant to be the moment she either let's go of her guilt to officially move forward from the past or loses a life trying to be with them again.
Well that and perhaps the real answer is unfortunately so obvious that they didn't feel like saying it. If they are dead, at least.
Yeah, ironically, the initial reason for why I've never played it was because I thought needed to be into the comics and/or the show in order to .
But according to you, it's very self-contained anyway. Ah well.
Disagree, i also think Norma is one of the best if not the best written villain in the series
how is she even a villain? the game forces you to side with the thieves.
Did it? Let me tell you, I was fading in and out of consciousness while playing this game, it felt weird as fuck. During the part where Michonne and Sam are running away in the dark forest, I was straining to see what was happening. It was trippy shit.
Anyway, I have no idea what relevance this has. Probably none.
I understand, in that way it was better than 400 days. Michonne and her troubles did not interest me but I guess that Michonne was more for the fans that have read the comics.
That would've been a lot of fun.
Sounds like you were tokin up when playing it, that's the relevance.
Nah, I've never done drugs. (mostly because I don't even know where to get them)
I think I was just tired and sleeping unhealthily or something. That was a year ago that I played it for the first time so I can't remember the exact reason.
Michonne: The game where Lelouche was sleep deprived.
Michonne does make for a good sleep aid
I really liked 400 Days, I just wish the stories were much longer.
