I went after Gabe and Clementine went after Kate. So David died, Gabe survived and Kate's fate is unknown. Honestly, now that I think about it, I'm satisfied with my ending. David said that he loved his family and redeemed himself. Gabe fianlly seems to start maturing. And Kate... never cared for her.
Clem and I saved David and Gabe, Kate is officially dead, David comes back to Richmond. This is also the most satisfying in my opinion. Looking back, I never really liked Kate's character. She was a poor leader and of poor character (doing weed while trying to figure out the next spot to scavenge from, trying to cultivate a love affair with Javi while she was married to David (flashback and in Richmond), erratic decision making, etc.)
I got the Gabe and David surviving ending. Even with both of them, acting like asses the whole game they're still Javier's blood. And blood is worth more than romancing your brothers wife
ill bet that next season we re getting another fuck up character and everyone s gonna start praising Gabe just like how it happened with the others before.... this happens every season.
Though to be fair, I wouldn't really call Gabe a fuck up--if I was the type to throw around that label, at least. Like, sure, he kinda shares certain traits and characteristics with Duck, Ben, and Nick, but I don't think he was ever really played up as someone who makes hypercritical mistakes and dramatically hampers the group. In fact, the only real problems I recall him causing was grabbing an alcohol bottle instead of the water again by mistake(which I think is determinate anyway), consider shooting Conrad when he went off on Javier(which is likely why Conrad decided to grab him later), and trying to ambush The Specialist after seemingly being discovered(which gets Javier stabbed in the shoulder--the one that he proceeds to drag The Specialist with ).
No, really, I think most of the bile regarding him was, is, and will be based around the shallow(and completely unnecessary) shipping stuff with ANF!Clementine.

That is because all of them are garbage. I wish there was an ending where Kate, Gabe AND David die, now I'm stuck with that bitch who is still forcing me to love her.
I went with Kate to Richmond and Clem went after Gabe and David. Both and Gabe and Kate lived but Gabe had to brain David or something. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if Gabe died really.

Yea. Like, it's a Video Game. Come on, man. No need to get Serious about it.
First one I got was Kate missing, David dead and Gabe alive. And tbh that's my favourite one.
The scene with David and Javier reconciling and saying goodbye was actually touching (for me, I'm soft) and after fighting and not getting along, the brothers forgave each other (in my play through at least)
While as a result of Kate going missing, Gabe and Javi have are the only ones left of their family. I feel that Gabe will change in accordance and will stop being so... Angsty?

Eh, I can sorta see that. I don't really care about the David end of things, but I can at least appreciate that they patched things up like they all should've been doing anyway.
While as a result of Kate going missing, Gabe and Javi have are the only ones left of their family. I feel that Gabe will change in accordance and will stop being so... Angsty?
Eh, angsty in what sense? Because honestly, I feel like that's one of the endings where Gabe is inherently gonna have some weight to carry on his shoulders.
One of the reasons I really don't like the fact that there's an ending where he's just up and dying, actually.

Those are my thoughts.
The worst one. The climax is a ridiculous clean-up montage, kate lives, and david dies offscreen.
Holy crap, I literally replayed the whole thing to get a better ending. (javier and gabe being the only ones left felt right to me)
After reading all the above comments, I'm shocked as to how many different endings there are.
The first time I played the game, I chose to go after Gabe and David and Clementine came with me. As a result, David and Gabe survived and David came back to Richmond. Kate managed to save Richmond but turned into a zombie as as a result. I did not shoot her.
I replayed chapter 5 though to accompany Kate and we saved Richmond, however David died in a car crash (?) and Gabe was bitten and eventually killed himself.
Clementine always chose to go with me; How does she go off by herself to help someone else? It seems for many people that she chose to go off on her own to help someone else.

I believe it's determined by what you do in her flashbacks. Particularly the third one, I think.

Oh, I see. I did not realize that the flashbacks determined the outcome of future events. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll try replaying the earlier chapters and choosing different choices in the flashbacks. Is the third flashback the one where Clementine takes medicine and forcibly injects it into AJ?
I got Kate killed and saved David and Gabe, which is also my favourite ending. I think. That and maybe the one where Kate and Gabe both live. Allsoooo I’ve noticed how my choices aren’t showing up on this site. Yippee...

Kate's alive and in the friend zone, David and Gabe are dead. It was a really tough decision, but in the end I just hated Gabe more than Kate. I also had to consider the future. Kate I could keep alive and get rid of, Gabe would be a permanent family member though, so I had to go with the option that would give as few of the new characters in ANF a reason to be around should TT force them into the final season. This was my first and will be my only play through of the game.

Don't forget how the dete… morerminate factors can/will make that ending's tone a fuckin zigzag.
(javier and gabe being the only ones left felt right to me)
Admittedly, I do think it's kind of an interesting middleground. The non-specificity regarding Kate is interesting as well.
@Melton23 I got Kate killed and saved David and Gabe, which is also my favourite ending. I think
Eh. That one used to be my least favorite.

I got the same ending and I agree that it is the best. David's death and goodbye to Javi was bittersweet, Gabe stepping up to put him down was fitting for his arc, and Kate disappearing adds the mystery and regret that TWD series always needs.
In your opinion, what do you think happened to Kate?

There are a few reasons which can determine who Clementine chooses to follow. I think they are whether you:
•Accept Ava’s offer
•Reject… more Ava’s offer
•Obey the rules and leave the medicine
•Disobey the rules and inject AJ
•Spit at David
•Say goodbye to AJ
Different varieties of these will make Clem go wherever Javi goes, go wherever Javi doesn’t, go after Kate or go after Gabe.
If you accept Ava's offer and obey them with AJ, your Clem will be understanding and will go after Gabe.
>
If you reject Ava's offer and inject AJ, your Clem will be levelheaded and will go wherever Javi doesn't.
If you reject Ava's offer and obey them with AJ, your Clem will be forgiving and will, again, go after Gabe.
If you reject Ava's offer, obey them with AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be honest and will, again, go wherever Javi doesn't.
Ah...!Thank you, Vengy--I'll perform at your retirement.
Still having a bit of a hard time understanding what I did wrong exactly, but at least this is an apparent start. Maybe I should check my choices to be sure.
Does saying yes to Ava and spitting on David cause an issue?
If you reject Ava's offer and obey them with AJ, your Clem will be forgiving and will, again, go after Gabe.
If you reject Ava's offer, inject AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be cold and will go with Kate.
If you accept Ava's offer and inject AJ, your Clem will be loyal and she will follow Javi's lead.
If you accept Ava's offer and obey them… more with AJ, your Clem will be understanding and will go after Gabe.

Cool I'll take you up on that someday lol. And I'm not sure, what went wrong in your playthrough? I think spitting in David's face means she will never go after Gabe and David unless it's the opposite of what Javi chooses, like she won't want to go after them on her own volition.

And what was the "wtf" in regards to?
Where is going to go to always determined beforehand. She either goes after Kate, goes after Gabe, does the opposite of Javi, or does the same as Javi. Spitting in David's face simply takes away the "going after Gabe/David" option but she'll go after them in accordance with the opposite or same dynamic if that's where Javi chooses to go.

Is that only determined after Javier chooses or is it something she'll say she'll do b… moreeforehand?

Those Clementine personality/descriptions alongside what she'll do with them.

Well, from what I've been told here, what I recall doing throughout the game doesn't match up with what Clementine said she would do during the finale's moment of truth, thus making the ending I want a non-possibility without restarting at least two episodes.
TLDR; ANF!Clementine is a walking SaveFile-RedRing if you want a particular ending.

Clem and I went with Kate to save Richmond, causing both David and Gabe to die. This is also my favorite because Gabe is dead.
It's also the most sad ending since I could not be with Kate if Gabe had to die
It's OK everyone plus it was my phone when I type on it it does that sometimes
I went after Gabe and Clementine went after Kate. So David died, Gabe survived and Kate's fate is unknown. Honestly, now that I think about it, I'm satisfied with my ending. Hmm. Most people liked their endings because they wanted certain people to die. Interesting.

Here's to hoping they BREAK it this time.
The simple fact that the whole situation was both FORCED and Non-Determinant, really RUINED it for me in the end. Even worse was the determinant KISSING scene, which Seemingly served as a symbolic Middle-Finger to people who Didn't support the ship and/or Wanted Gabe to Die; which (Putting it Nicely) may NOT have been the BEST decision that Telltale's writers could've made at the time.

Has anyone come up with a hard link of which supports what side?
I haven’t found much about it but I found this post, check the top comment. It seems to link into the “Your Clementine became”.

Bumping this for shortly relevancy.
Also, how do you get Clementine to get on the motorcycle instead of going with Kate?
