Comic and TellTale series officially connected now (comic spoilers)
Elodie from the Michonne mini series officially was introduced into the comic in issue #175. Looks like Elodie has been a part of the Commonwealth for sometime now (the new community Eugene has been talking about). Some of the members of the Commonwealth posted pictures of missing loved ones on a billboard on the outskirts of the community and one of the pictures was that of Michonne and written on it was 'have you seen my mommy? From Elodie'

That's what I was thinking.
I don't remember if they mentioned Elodie's name in the comics, but maybe a simple google search will help clarify that.
Edit: From what I've seen on the wikipedia site, her name was introduced into the comics today. So, you're right.
I don't believe they ever mentioned their names in the comic before. Believe the comic prior to this issue only ever stated she had two daughters.
While this is extremely unlikely, there's a chance it could be a different Elodie, even if they resemble Michonne's daughter.

Um, Glenn and Hershel were in the first episode of the game. And even Maggie or Beth was mentioned too. They've been connected from the get-go.
Did you forget about Glenn, Shawn, and Hershel being in the very first episode? Or Jesus being in ANF? And the Kingdom being mentioned?

That was different. THEY appeared in the Show/Comics first. THIS is the OPPOSITE. It came the Telltale FIRST. Not the other way around.
I mean, we knew Michonne had two daughters that were missing for quite some time in the comic. The Telltale game simply named them but I concede you have a point. Let's just hope that the facts line up and that Kirkman gives respect to the events of the Michonne game.
