No but seriously out of those three I guess I'd pick Lily.
Christa's obviously the one most likely to return. Hell I'm all but certain these forums are going to riot if she doesn't.
Im not sure about anyone returning, even Christa.
People complained Kenny's return felt unrealistic, but atleast meeting him again kinda made sense seeing that we were both heading North. At this point in the story it would feel more like fan service, I'd only want it if it felt necessary to the story, and not "please forgive us for anf being botched take an old character to prove we still care for older fans."
That being said, if any of them did return I would hope it would be Christa, also to be honest probably the most likely, seeing shes a fan favorite and everyone seems to generally like her, unlike Lilly who is definitely mixed (which could make implementing her into the story difficult) Seeing Molly was only in one episode, it would be weird that she even returns after all this time, also it would be disappointing that out of the other characters who could return it would be the one who was the least relevant.
I honestly don't want any of them to return. Like Poogers said, it would feel like nothing more than a fanservice with nothing to add emotionally or intellectually to the game.
Molly was a one-shot character who was a stereotypical action hero ninja chick in an otherwise grounded and realistic season.
Lilly's unknown fate suits her arc in my opinion, and if she came back i would only want to kill her or get away from her immediately. I would be aggravated if her presence was forced upon me throughout the season.
Christa's unknown fate suits her as well. My Clementine asked the dying scavenger, Matthew, and Edith if they had seen her and nobody had an answer. I take it that she died but the fact that Clem will never know for certain makes it even more tragic in a way, like she can still have that faint hope. But i still dont want to run into her because it wouldn't feel realistic and I dont think it would add much to the story.
Honestly if any female character randomly shows up again it should be Kate for the people who had her randomly vanish in their ending. She would still presumably be nearby and we could help her or have her as a determinant companion. But other than that i think Telltale should stick to Clementine and whatever new cast they have planned.
out of these 3 id want either Molly or Lily to return. Althought a character that telltale could use without causing a complete uproar would be Paige from Walking dead Michonne since she s never met Clem so there would be no use of a character that Clementine would be biased towards.
Of those three, Lilly or Christa, even if it's exclusively in flashbacks. I'll also take Paige.
Is it possible, for a long shot, a very tall order, to say all three if possible?
I really wanna know the whole business with Christa's baby so bad. Like I feel it isn't as big as a topic as it should be. And obviously where she's been for the last few months. I really enjoyed her character as a whole too. I feel like if Omid was still alive, they'd all still be together.
Like @VengefulKenny said, and I agree, Molly was a "one-shot character". Yes she was exciting to play with, especially with her unique way of survival and style. But all in all, S1 was a fitting departure for her character imo. Though I'd like to see her again, Molly is the type of person who survive's on their own. Kinda like Jane, only with a heart and much cleaner hair
. She's another I'd trust with Clem. I can see them running into each other, but only briefly.
On the other hand, Telltale's writing staff would totally have a field day writing Lily back in! So many things they can explore at this point and soo many things can finally be revealed which can build momentum around her and the story. Why'd you jack our RV? Where'd ya go? With whom were you with? Any new hobbies? Like being a leader to a community? It's endless!
And if any of these women are reintroduced in TFS, please make them look like them Telltale thx.
All three are really well written and interesting characters and they are my top three choices of who should return but the character I would like to see the most is Lilly. She was a very complex and interesting character. She would make for a great friendly face or an antagonist. I'd love to see her reaction to how much Clementine has changed from season 1.

so that leaves lilly, which I think could make for an interesting dynamic with clementine, but then I can't headcanon that she's the same lilly as in the comics anymore
Would she, tho? Jane was already intentionally invoking Molly-comparison and appealing to the people who wanted Clementine to have [Molly as] a badass big sister figure.
Werent Molly s morals pretty much the opposite of Jane s when it came to liabilities thought? Especially with her whole hatred of Crawford.
About the baby.

Unless it turns out Christa gave her away or something along those lines, any thing centering on the baby can be summed up with "She didn't make it."
I hate it too. But the only possible thing I can think of is her having a miscarriage. Either that, or her & Clem not being fully stocked for a new born to survive. #RipOmidJr
It just doesn't sit right with me y'know? Like at one point in the game she's a stretch away from her water being broken, then OOF - no baby. And it's never talked about, like who doesn't talk about their baby's whereabouts?! But my best guess would have to be a miscarriage. If not just malnourished.
To be fair, there was a considerable timeskip there. The baby would've been born and then gone by the quarter point.

Not to mention that Clementine would've been there to witness whatever happened and thus it's not worth discussing anymore.

Yeah but still just a teeny tiny bit of dialogue about it would do me some good lol. I even replayed the beginning of episode one a few times to see if I hear or sense any sort of foreshadowing about it's future, but ultimately coming up with zip.
And yeah, like I thought at some point Clem'll have one of those moments where she'd think to herself and we'd get some deets. But as time went on I realized she left it where it was and that was that.
I guess I just wanna hear what Telltale comes up with. Most likely the usual, "whatever you want it to be" lol.
All three I would love to see again even if it's just flashbacks, and you know what please bring back another Lee flash back in S2 that would be awesome. If it's a another dream because Clem get's hurt (if clem dies, let her see all the people she cares about). I would really love that since it's the last series. Christa is most likely dead but we never got it confirmed. Like this comment if you agree, if you don't pls reply to this comment.
I’m going with Christa. I want to know what happened with the baby (most likely a miscarriage after Omid’s death) and where she ran off after splitting with Clem. Most of the fan base also want her to come back so there’s that too.
As for Lily, I’m not interested in seeing her. Even though she had a good character, I found her bitchiness and short-temper too much and considering we had 3 of those types of characters in ANF (David, Tripp, and Gabe) It’s going to leave a sour taste in my mouth.
Christa deserves to come back out of any of characters as she very much cared for Clementine, acting as a mother figure towards her. So many mysteries with her character. Clementine mentions her numerous times in Season 2.
Molly, her story arc is complete, it would be weird to see her come back as Clementine wasn’t that close to her.
As for Lilly, shooting Carley/Doug, I will NEVER forget what she did to Carley. She leaving Clementine and the group on the road, imagine if the train didn’t work. But it would be interesting to see her come back, most probably as an antagonist.

The tease is strong. XD To me this seems almost like a confirmation. We'll see how this goes.
I don't think it's a tease to anything. It's just the actress agreeing how difficult it is to be quiet. The funny thing is Emily replied to a different comment(which asked why she doesn't just tell people she can't say anything) by saying that people started taking any kind of response as some sort of clue... People proved her right.
(I swear I'm a sane non-stalking person. I just don't follow many people and caught that.)
I feel you. Trust me, I'm a non-stalking person too, but this showed up in my TL and it almost felt like a confirmation to me. But also I think fans should also know better than to ask them if X character is gonna show up. What do they expect? Of course they're not gonna reveal any of that. It's common sense. XD
