I want to go back to get the Good Ending at some point, but first I need to get a solid answer on what triggers what since most of my choices have lined up with what is allegedly required.
You might have to go back because it sounds like something is boned in your save file man. I followed exactly those choices after restarting episode 2 because the game didn't tell me which decision I made, and it successfully let me ensure Gabe died. Considering Javiers back pack was glitching through everything as it stretched beyond known gravity when I played, I figured it'd be safer to assume other early issues were still present. Didn't they patch the game forever ago though?
Yeah, I noticed that too. It sucks, since that's a small but major deciding factor in how the story will resolve but the game doesn't remind you outside of maybe the Previously On segment.
It doesn't help that I recall being told that spitting on David also has an effect, yet there's no record of it when I scrolled back through the choices.

I had Clem staying loyal to my Javi and wanting to go wherever he chose to go. I helped Kate save Richmond, so both Gabe and David died. It's also my favorite ending since I don't like neither Gabe or David.
