Personally, I don’t want them near The Final Season, especially Joan. However, if they were to show up, they shouldn’t be the main villain AGAIN, especially Joan. I’d have them show up for a Episode before being killed off by the major antagonist in the season.
No mention of ANF would be great to be honest so I couldn't care less if they didn't show up. The Stranger was a good villian. Carver was hyped up nicely but ended up being wasted in Episode 3. Tbh I think he should have lasted until we kill him in Episode 5. I mean what was the plot in Episode 4 and 5? We fight random russians and then Kenny is the villian randomly cause he's crazy. Erm wut?
