I wonder why they deleted it?
Most likely because it wasn't a finished schedule and wasn't supposed to be released yet.
Video clip will be shown with Clem and her “new survivors”
I really hope it's true,i just want to see a teaser at least.
YAAAAAY!
Clem!
Wow!! Batman Episode 5 releasing at some point in March and The Walking Dead's Final Season premiere at PAX East 2018!!! I am so excited!!!
So will there be a trailer? Or will Episode 1 release on that day?
It will most likely be a teaser with a few details about what will happen in season 4, the first episode is due to release some time in the summer.
That sounds about right if they are looking at a summer release date. I'm really looking forward to what they show, however I'm somewhat unsure how I feel about possible new survivors.
We'll have to see how they portray them. You may think that introducing "new" survivors maybe a bad idea, but that just depends on how they are developed. The characters in the last few seasons didn't leave much time to show each of their backstories and to show their view on how things have changed for them since then. And if we had more interaction with them, it would give us a chance to be able to relate to their situation and to empathize for them. Telltale has a new chance to show this correctly. I just hope that they've changed their opinion on how character development should be done since then. And to not cut corners on it.
tfw you kill everyone off in s1, replace them in s2, then kill them off, and then replace them in season 3, and then you again cut them off and replace them AGAIN in season 4
Pretty worrisome to be honest. Considering it seemed like no development really got started until January and now already they plan on showing footage, it just makes me think its going to be rushed as hell again.
Hopefully any new characters will be more fleshed out and developed than S2&ANF. I think the best way to handle a new group is to keep it small and less determinant.
Assuming they show the teaser with information on S4 on April 6, I wonder if we'll get a official release date.
The walking dead in a nutshell. This is why we need season 1 characters in season 4.
This game has had less than a year's worth of development. It's going to be really short, unless they go back to 3 month dev cycles per episode. But I guess it's better to cash in quick, lord knows they need it.
Batman S2 E1 was 2 hours, while it also had less than a year of development. I don’t think length has anything to do with it.
Itll go to 3 month dev cycles after ep 1 comes out and gets shit on...
Not to mention the quality of that episode. It was really good.
Batman S2 also started a new story, Walking Dead is, or was suppose to be a "continuation." It had to be 2 hours to establish all the new they were bringing in, while Walking Dead was just rushing to remove the old.
Is it still coming out in summer then if development just started in January? I was under the impression it was development sometime after ANF.
Im sure there was some development from atleast July, but it was probably more of engine and asset type of development instead of Writing, which started in Jan (as far as we know, and likely because how the game was already delayed to summer instead of early 2018). Im assuming that it is still coming out this Summer, Im guessing April when this happens we will be given a more solid release window, like "june 2018" or something like that
I hope it does not end up having the same fate as A New Frontier like they show a cool clip and remove it entirely from the game. Please TellTale take your time do not be quick to release the game! All video game companies delay at least one of their games and if you have to delay the game in order to ensure a higher quality product then do so. I have faith you guys will not disappoint with this game!
All previous games on TVD did not have short clips before the release, but only a trailer. I think this time we will be shown a trailer with Clem and the new survivors as it was in June 2016 for season three.
Well A New Frontier got delayed and look how that turned out.
Well I mean it got delayed because of rewrites and felt like they removed stuff out of the game for some reason which is probably why the first two episodes were an hour long. I still believe they can make this a solid Walking Dead game. Also cool avatar of Clementine I hope she either gets her old pig tails back or the hair style your avatar shows
tfw ANF was delayed but still came out badly
what does tfw mean? lol and I love the pictures you have of the game characters they always make the discussion boards more fun and lively
"New survivors" is relatively good news. Just imagine having to sit through another game with ANF's dreadful characters. Of course, this might just be Telltale challenging the claim that there can't be a worse cast than ANF's.
Just here to say hype! Real Exciting stuff to look forward to. Okay bye.
And everything after that episode has been less than that. A good start to a season doesn't equate to a continual 2 hours every episode.
UPDATE: SOMEONE UPLOADED THE PAX SCHEDULE
