TNF

I know the new frontier wasn't as good as the previous seasons but it introduced me to the series. Before it I hadn't heard of it or played it. I'm glad I found it. I love this series. It's awesome. Can't wait for the final season.

  • An actual newcomer!

  • I'm not really new. I kinda am. I've only known about it for about a year and three months

  • I think he meant to the series, as ANF was designed to welcome the newcomer without making them feel like they need to have played the previous seasons. For over a year now, we've wondered who this newcomer was, until today. You've made history here, my friend.

  • ...Oh.
    ....Never mind.

  • So ANF indroduced you to this series? Did you play it before the first two seasons? Or did you go back and play the first two games first? If so, how was you experience playing ANF first? The game was designed more for the new comers and less for the fans who actually played the other games. I don't know I feel like I judged ANF too harshly because I was comparing it to the past two seasons which I personaly found both of them to be masterpieces.

  • I played the first two episodes and then I played the earlier seasons.

  • Our of curiosity because you played ANF first (even though you stopped and then played the first 2) What Season did you think was the best, second best, and then third?

  • The first season was the best. I didn't like how they killed everyone though. I also didn't like how Lee got bit. I think it should have been a lot better. Also the stranger situation could have been better too. Other than that I really enjoyed it. The second season is 2nd best. I liked it though.
The third season is my least favorite but I still enjoyed it.

  • What was your initial impression of Clementine when you were indroduced to her in ANF? Did you find yourself wanting to side with her or against her because Javier was being held prisoner? I have to admit my Javier was a little bit of a pushover when it came to Clementine, because I was so attached to her every decision I made had her well being in mind. Were you confused when she started getting 5 minute flashbacks when the other side characters didn't? What was your reaction to the flashback? Sorry for all of the questions but your the first person I have ever heard of that played ANF first.

I played the first two episodes and then I played the earlier seasons.

  • It's fine. Even though I didn't know who she was I still sided with her. No I wasn't confused about the flashbacks I didn't really think about it. Of course I might have been if Kenny or Jane were in it. I didn't have a reaction to them.

  • With the group dynamics of Season 1 and especially Season 2 on your resume, what did you think about them in A New Frontier?
Who were the group members you felt any degree of trust and/or closeness to?
What side(s) did you favor in any given episode/situation?
Did you think there would be a major development regarding that?

What was your reaction when you first saw how young Clementine was when she showed up taking charge of Javier, a grown man, holding him prisoner? Most of us witnessed Clementine's evolution from innocent child to hardened survivor gradualy during the first two seasons so it wasn't a shock to see her as a stuborn badass in ANF. How was it being indroduced to her after she had undergone evolution. Were you shocked to see how sweet and innocent she used to be when you played season 1 after?
