Is there any chance for Kenny to return in the Final Season ?
We all know how Poorly written and Awful Kenny's death was, but is there any chances for him to come back if you choose to stay in Wellington and leave Kenny ? Is there any chances that if he's alone to live . It's known 80% Telltale will not bring Kenny back to Season 4, even if he's gone for good. But i think this can happen and in Season 4 Let's say you see him alive on some camp, cause the NF raided them and they hided somewhere . What do you think guys ? Will they again be together ?

To be honest, I'd be surprised if they even gave him a very brief flashback in the final season, let alone be an actual part of the plot. Clem might have the opportunity to talk about him to another survivor (fingers crossed for Lilly and Christa here), but unfortunately I think Kenny's time is up. Same goes for Lee, Jane, Luke, etc.
I'm kind of hoping they have flashbacks to each group Clem has been apart of, including just the time she spent with Christa and Omid so Kenny could appear in the Motel flashback maybe.
I'm all for a s1 flashback or a s2 ending flashback if you stayed with him. But bringing him back for Wellington enders would be a huge "f you" to players who actually stayed with him and were loyal.
My bad . I forgived about the others, sorry
I can't help but disagree with you every time I see this. I'm worried someone high up will listen to what you are saying. I'd say the only reason a lot of people chose the Wellington ending was because of the slim chance that that he may still be alive.
Also it's a game. The creators probably don't care if they're giving a small group of people the middle finger. I'm sure they gave many more people the finger by bringing Kenny back in s2.
People did not stay in Wellington on the off chance that they could spend time in the luxury resort community and THEN go find Kenny later on. They stayed in order to keep the children safe, or because Kenny was begging them to stay and they listened and chose to give him a victory. People are only choosing to stay on the off chance that he's alive AFTER the A New Frontier released and killed off Kenny in a 5 minute flashback.
The people who actually wanted Kenny to stay alive and in the game are the people who turned away the safety of Wellington and stayed with him. And they're not a "small group of people", it's a sizable portion of all players and arguably the players who care the most about Kenny. They should absolutely care about pissing off his core fans in order to bring him back for players who left him behind. Not to mention the fact that Kenny leaving the kids in Wellington was a noble sacrifice and a fitting end to his arc, and bringing him back for a fanservice would render that sacrifice obsolete.
I'm probably going to get hate for this but I completely disagree with bringing him back in The Final Season. The Wellington ending was such a perfect sendoff to his entire character and bringing him back for a second time would not only cheapen the emotional weight that ending had but it'd also be pretty comical. I love his character but his arc is thoroughly completed. Lets allow either fresh characters or old ones with undoubtedly wasted potential have as much time in the spotlight as they can get.
Nope.
Well, everyone knows that sooner or later everybody's life is running out, just like Lee,Omid,Luke and Kenny.
The story for the game went out the window a while ago. They don't have much to lose by bringing well liked characters back for fanservice.
i really hope they do as a camo at the end cause i would really love to end my clems story with kenny
I love this man but please let him go. His character has suffered enough already. Time to move on.
I think it depends on how TT will deal with the multiple endings of Season 2. In ANF, one of the flashbacks is a real finger in the middle for one of Season 2's finals and we still have the end of Wellington where Kenny separates from Clem. If TT really is to follow ANF, which I do not think will be the case, we may not have Kenny again.
Anyway, I think his bow is already complete in Season 2.
Is there any chance Telltale would do the right thing and cancel Season 4’s development?
Why would they cancel it?
He says it, cause for most ppl ANF was failure to the fans .
Yeah because nobody want to see Clementine again, and nobody want to see the end of her story right ? They have a chance to redeemed themselves, this is not something most companies would do.
Just look at Dragon age 2 the game was awful compared to Origins but they still did a sequel and it was better than the second game maybe not better than Origins but still better than Dragon age 2.
Kenny is 2X done over at this point and there's absolutely nothing left for him now. Neither Clementine or AJ are really that better off with him considering his mental state and older age. And even if he were to come back, I don't see what purpose he'd have other than repeating the same Kenny arc formula from the past 2 seasons. The best thing for Kenny is to remain on his own in the S2 Wellington ending or dead in S2 or ANF.
The heartbreaking thing for me is that due to the awful writing of ANF and the way they handled Clem, I dont even care much for her anymore like in the past and Telltale are fully responsible for that obviously. I just feel anything they do in the next game will be fruitless so i think they shouldn’t make another TWD game. I don’t believe they will redeem themselves unless the game is an identical format to that of Season 1
Eh, roughly the same here.
Yes, of course there is a chance for him to return.
Is this a good idea? It all depends on how they would do it. Kenny is one of my favourites, so I shall try not to let any emotions get in the way of my thoughts here. Hate him or love him, Kenny is a popular character who would definitely add something interesting to the story. Some may think that a second "miraculous" return would be too much, however, Kenny could have meet some people and gone somewhere and then come back for Clem, he would always be linked with Clem and Jr. so it just makes sense, plus he is a strong survivor who has already proved that he can face adversity even alone. As a Kenny fan who decided to stay at Wellington I can say that the whole "they would piss off the ones who stayed with Kenny" argument is really poor, this is a choice and consequence driven experience, this is how it works, if we are going to face things like that I could also say that if Kenny is not to appear in Season Four Telltale would be failing the Wellington players such as myself. Bringing Kenny back is not about fanservice, but about the plot itself, it is not about which players would love it and which ones would hate it, because I am sure that if it is done right, it would be awesome. Bringing him back is a challenge and Telltale can very well accept it, because if they do it right they would excel on how to tell a story.
A safe option (and one that I really like) is to have him make a cameo (by the end of the game for instance).
An even safer option is to not bring him back at all. I did the Wellington ending and I pretty much liked how it went for him. Although it seems like a waste of potential there are some other characters that could really use a come back such as Christa or even Lilly.
Please no, I dont want to make decisions revolving around him a third time.
i picked the wellington ending so if they don't show what happened to him then i'l be as angery as this doggo
The only appearances Kenny should be making if at all is as part of a "Congratulations!" sequence, as part of a collection/encyclopedia of character profiles, and/or determinantly a "Where are they now?" type thing.
Bringing him back for Wellington people would a) take away from his noble sacrifice, b) be completely unrealistic and almost silly, and c) be offensive to the people who actually stayed with him. It's such a bad idea and this is coming from one of his biggest fans.
That being said, I think seeing him via flashback would be acceptable.
Although I was left with the final Wellington where Kenny says goodbye to Clem I prefer that his bow have been locked there. It would be very much a new reunion and the end of Clementine's story should be memorable. Bringing Kenny back offers the risk of caconising the same as there was in Season 2: Monopolizing the plot due to Telltale's lazy writing.
I think kenny is gone no matter what, sadly
