    Wait what? Did it get revealed in the comics or something? I guess that does make sense when you think about it. Though if it is true Kirkman just opened up so many plot holes in his previous work where people have covered themselves in the guts after a fight with open wounds.

    I'm guessing the difference is that knife would be directly introducing a dose of the bacteria into the bloodstream.
