When do you think AJ will be found?
I honestly hope Clem finds him in Episode 1 (by Episode 2 maximum) I don't want to spend the whole season looking for AJ.

I'd be honestly surprised if it extends anywhere beyond the first episode. Which is surprising, I was thinking that it was going to be a whole season looking for AJ. Then again, I also thought it would start pretty much right where ANF ended, and that doesn't seem to be the case either. Which begs the question, if AJ is most likely going to be found very early, what is the rest of the season going to be like?
I'd say at least by the ten minute mark of the thirty minute first episode.

It might be like episode one of Season One. Lee found Clementine almost immediately and it could be the same here. I wouldn't want this to be the only story Clementine has in the final season.
Assuming Episode 1, it would be dumb as hell to show Clem with Aj doing the whole S1 pose thing just to go "haha remember how everyone didnt like how the ANF promo images making the episodes look cooler but didnt have anything to do with the episodes? Lets just keep doing" would be a dumb idea.
The way it looks like. It might be clementine being a guardian also paraent to aj. Also teaching aj how to survive like Lee taught Clem.
I'm definitely thinking it's going to be episode 1. I don't want it dragged out or anything, but I'm kinda worried it'll be almost immediately when the episode starts, and we'll fast forward a year or two to her already being with a group of people for a while. Because that was a highlight of ANF
Lingard said that the McCarrol Ranch was only a few miles away from Richmond and Clem and AJ look much older in the image and it can't have taken Clem THAT long to find AJ. Perhaps Clem has found him before the events of the game. Unless there's a time skip between 2 episodes.
I hope it goes as: You find AJ in episode one, then in/after episode one there's a time skip.
If the 1st episode is less than 1:30, you can kick the tent stick.
I'm guessing that Clem will find AJ at the end of episode 1. I hope she finds him reletivley early on so they have time to develop Clem and AJ's relationship since it barely got any development in ANF. A teenager raising a child in the apocalypse intrigues me a lot more than simply a teenager looking for a baby the entire season.

Honestly at this current moment in time I expect AJ to found within the first 20 minutes of The Final Season. What happens after that remains a mystery..... But I am sure we will get a great ending!!
They need to have this time skip early on. Having it happen too late would completely disrupt the mood set by the game. Like if you had gotten used to the season 3 clem and her goal to find AJ and then episode 3 starts after a time skip that would introduce new settings/characters and everything that should have previously been introduced. It disrupts it all.
At the earliest, episode one. At the latest, episode two. However, it will most likely be the first episode of the final season.
