But on a more sincere note (pun intended). I feel fans should come to accept the fact that clementine never was immortal and can succumb to injuries and illness. This is suppose to be a horror tale so ending her story with her tragic untimely death is not a promise but a great possibility that can happen to her just like any other characters. That is genuine equality and realism.
Why would you want them to promise this? It would basically make any intense scenes with Clementine mute as people will know they won't kill her off. And if they back-track on that promise, be prepared to have peeps here say that lied to us just like how Episode 1 and Episode 2 of ANF were 'too big'
Just for the sake of originality and some creative thought, I would hope they wouldn't kill her off. Regardless it would be a pretty dumb move on Telltales part to kill her off despite the circumstance. If this is the route they do go, I wish we would have stayed with Lee.
Honestly I do not think they will. Telltale care too much about Clementine to do it. I am sure that comment was to cause some tension and fear. But I don't think they will kill her it would be a bad move and there are plenty of other ways to end a story without killing a character
I don't think Telltale will kill off Clem. I am hopeful for a nice ending and that Clem will be happy and have a future in the kind of world that she now lives in.
Since this is the last season, I think that Telltale might go for a multiple endings scenerio again. That means that there will be probably one ending where Clem dies. I hope that's the case because then we won't only have reassurance that Clementine won't appear in the comics (clem in comics is really a bad idea guys) but also everyone will have a chance to finish the game the way they want to.
Why is it bad for Clem to be in the comics, If they handle the writing right it should be great many of Clem fans want to see her again i sure as hell do. It would be great if the people who wrote the game would participate in the comics then we'll know that the originality of Clementine will remain.

Because they will have to use source material from the games. And since Telltale say that what each individual does in their personal playthrough is canon to the player then Kirkman would have to completely disregard that and come out and say that the overall plot (Lee finds Clementine, cares for her, Lee gets bitten etc.) is non canon to the comic book universe. Another problem is the injuries/scars/tattoo that Clementine gets Post- Season Two are due to player choice and in the overall story Clementine gets one of those that I mentioned above. If Kirkman picked just one of those it would completely nullify any significance behind player choices and reasonings for other choices. So it isn't about if is written properly. There are too many obstacles for Kirkman to overcome if he ever wanted her in the comics, to which I heard that she won't appear in the comics

I’m 90% sure it’s determinate, unfortunately. Most fans don’t want her to die but a minority do (and I’m guessing because since it’s the Final Season they automatically assume she’s dying). Job said her dying might not be the case, so there’s a possibility she won’t die at all.
I don’t want her to die. There’s no reason for her to at all. Sure, her story is going to be over, but that doesn’t mean she has to die. There isn’t even a way to give her a proper send off without people comparing her Death to Lee’s.

EXACTLY! Honestly I thank you for sharing your reasons why you think that. She doesn't need to die. I don't think she will die and I certainly don't want her to die. There are many other ways to end the Season on a satisfying note without Clementine dying. I also recall Gary Whitta saying that he wants to give Clementine fans a satisfying conclusion to her story. I guess you know what's that means......

Why? Because they always advertised #YourClementine and if she was to appear in the comics, that would mean that they'd have to chose canon events in her backstory. I for one don't want to see her in the comics because I love the fact that it's a complete seperate story and it doesn't have to be connected in any way to the comics except for taking place in the same universe. There is a lot of interesting good stories in TWD and not ALL OF THEM need to be centered around comic characters that we know and love.

Seriously Though, at this point I think Telltale is completely burned out on people saying "Clem Dies We Riot." I think this is just Telltale's way of saying "STOP IT."

I don't want her to die, don't really think she will, but anything could happen. I like the idea of multiple endings. It could (potentially) give everyone the ending they want. It would also allow you to play for a different ending if you wanted to. I'm kind of torn between two endings, one where she lives and one where she dies, and several different ones where there are minor or major changes depending on everything.
I don`t really care if she dies or not at this point, but they are not going to kill her for sure. Telltale took a lot of heat for ANF, they are not going to dig their grave even further with killing off Clementine.

?Promise me no promises!! ? that song.?

Smart move.
No sarcasm.
I mean. It's not like they can spoil the finale.

Clem can die an infinite number of times, mostly in Season 2. Just fail the QTEs
Mabey it will be some sort of choice to sacrifice yourself to save someone else or for you to stay alive
And/or a choice to let yourself get BEAT into the GROUND!
What?
You heard me.
Like David and Javier? That was a satisfying scene actually lol

Ok then
oh shit
It's another April Fools Guys.
Which is why that was posted at least two days beforehand.

Heh. "Originality."

Very true.
I think that killing Clementine would be too crude and never reach the height of Lee's death effect. It would be very predictable from Telltale.
I agree. Unless it's her own comics, not the TWD series.
Great point but after the last season why does it matter?
I see it as a business opportunity, people who play the game and not reading comics will start reading same goes to people reading and not playing

It matters because we have spent 4 Seasons making choices that affect Clementine. Please read my above comment. Of course it matters.....
Believe me, if they decide to put Clementine in the comics, there wiill be more people upset than happy about it. That's how I see it.
