I really don't know how to feel about The Walking Dead: The Highschool Years. This all sounds like the terrible books they'd sell during my middle schools book sales.
Well that panel didn’t do much for me. I still will gladly let any of those characters die a horrible and brutal death in order to save Clem from a minor inconvenience. The Lord of the Flies thing they are going for is something I would normally be against but at this point leaning on cliches is probably the only thing they have going for them in terms of story telling. I do kind of like the one pigtail look, so there’s that at least. Looks like Telltale is still acting like Telltale by telling the majority of people watching to Fuck Off. So I’m upgrading my status from ragingly pessimistic to cautiously pessimistic.
It's an interesting idea, something new and also I like the fact that someone on the panel mentioned that whilst Telltale were heading for a more "cinematic" experience, they had taken away from exploration and wanted to focus on the latter. That, to me, is a good sign. Plus this (alongside their recent work with Batman: Season 2), does really show me that they will learn from their mistakes and do the best that they can.
The new characters are concept art and seem interesting, right now I am cautiously optimistic
“Should have came to pax” made me say right back “should have thought about fans who can’t travel or pay to see the info even though it is going to get leaked shortly after anyway” not gonna lie but it also kinda annoyed me too
Ok I didn't know what time the stream was so I was unable to see it but I see a lot of people are upset about TellTale hiding the footage even though they stated weeks in advance that the footage was exclusive to people who will be at the event. I think TellTale will release the footage a few weeks from now. I noticed that people are also talking about Clem being in a group with kids her age. This is not a bad thing or unbelievable thing however, TellTale should not treat them like they have no idea what they are doing because they have been through the apocalypse for four years.
I had no problem with the exclusive content. I knew that would be a thing. But Greg Miller trying too hard to be a "likeable asshole" just came off as a "hittable asshole". There was no need for all those obnoxious callouts to the Twitch users. Basically spit in our faces.

Let me guess: Marlon will be the one who gives us trouble, Louis will butt heads with him and we'll have to choose between the two. Violet will be our nice friend and Ten is going to die. I'd love for them to subvert expectations with Marlon and have him be the one who has our back because he clearly looks like the troublemaker of the group.
He's really loud and disrespectful and I've disliked him since s2 when he was saying how much he hated Sarah and wanted her to die painfully. I didn't like Sarah much either but wishing death upon a child is.... questionable.
How are they greedy? They stated the footage was exclusive to people who will be at the actual event and they do not make any money from attending events. You guys need to chill the game is coming out in the Summer and most likely TellTale will release the footage in a few weeks, I could be wrong though.
Yeah I agree Greg handling the Twitch audience was annoying, especially considering the disaster it was with the non stop tech issues.
I mean I was planning on going to PAX this year to see the panel because I dont live far away, but tickets sold out on Friday really fast so I couldnt.

I'll admit one thing and that's that Greg really needs to change his attitude. It may work on Beyond or whatever the hell he does but for disappointed fans who can't attend a nicer sendoff would be great!
I feel like he was acting like a fan, trying to relate to us. Like, in all honesty, If I was hosting the panel, I’d ask the same questions (minus the killing Kenny one).

Wow, think you could at least learn to insult them with proper grammar?
Greg Miller is a colossal imbecile, that's for sure

Guess it's time to see what Skybound can give us...
Guys, Greg Miller has always been a cunt. Not excusing his behavior but you should know what you're getting into with him by now.
Either him or Tara Strong.
literally the only disappointing thing on this panel was Greg Miller ...
never liked that guy
I'm not a speaker and get out

I'm honestly down for this.

Speaking of the dog, I'm already planning Mullet kid's murder.
Rosie will be mine.

You were just defending him. Make your mind up!

Yeah, I live in a different country dickhead.
Nothing about the returning characters then? Oh
Alright, if no one else is asking it, I'll do it.
Where the hell is Clementine's hat?
I knew it. There is no excuse, Greg Miller is one of the worst people on the internet. Fuck that guy.
My money’s on the dog took it
Maybe one of the kids took it? Or the wind might’ve blown it away? Who knows.
is Greg miller the same guy who used to work at IGN? or is that a different Greg?

It refused to be associated with her hair in any way. So it quit the series.
A monkey stole it.

It would’ve ruined the surprise and it would be a huge spoiler. It’s like if they announced Kenny was coming back in S2.

S4's plot.
Season 2 cut content confirmed in Season 4. CALLING IT!!!
didn't he come on here and apologise over that? i don't like him either
I don't recall that happening but who knows. He was pretty bad at PAX just now by talking about shooting Kenny and asking when Clem was going to die
I don't think he did. Fuck that guy, fuck everything about him.
Wait I didn't notice... what??! The hat is missing?! gasp
Jolene strikes again!

Rosie dog takes Clem's hat and they reuse the same dialogue including Clems voice suddenly sounding younger.

Of course, how did I not think about that?
He did.
