  • Definitely not 3y or 5y. Clem has to be 14-15 the most. No way is she 18 or 16. This has to be in the current comic time since ANF takes place during the timeskip before issue 127.

someone said 2y, and the other one said 3y or 5y

Is there someone that haves the footage? Just today i saw a 45 sec footage of the game, and i want to see more than just 45 sec.

  • They confirmed she is 16 in this so i think 3 years

So has anyone in PAX confirmed how long the timeskip is? Because I doubt it’s been years since ANF. It had to be a few months at most.

  • Did the staff confirm it or did someone attending PAX?

I think you (and many others) misunderstood what they said, when making season 2 they wanted Clementine to be 11 years old but have the same hardened attitude as a 16 year old.

When they mentioned that i saw the twitch chat going mad with “16 confirmed” type comments which was wrong.

    Yes they did.

  • maybe she is 16yo, BUT someone in the PAX said that AJ is 8 or 9, im so confused

I don’t think AJ will be that old, even if Clementine is 16 years old the maximum age AJ could be is 5 as she was 11 when AJ was born, maybe they meant the young boy called Ten will be around 8-10 in TFS.

  • I do not know how old you are but stop acting just like a child.

stop defending what is NOT defensible

  • Well, yeah, it would be nice if you had no idea romance was an option unless you picked certain choices. It shouldn't be forced on the player.

    iFoRias posted: »

He's joking nobody knows if there's going to be any romance. I know they're gonna try but i hope we have the option to refuse at least for the people who don't want that.

  • Heheh, wow, I've watched a bit of the Telltale PAX panel and, is it just me, or is it really... awkward? Everyone seems so... nervous. Is it normally like that? I don't watch too many of these things.

I think TFS looks pretty interesting so far. It looks... different. I don't understand how having more teenage characters make many people assume it's going to be a teen romance drama and that it's going to be crap and Telltale has instantly failed them. It's so easy for people to jump to conclusions.

With the whole boarding school thing, is there actually a running boarding school or a run-down boarding school building that happen to be were some kids are hanging out? There's a big difference between those two.

Is there a transcript of the panels anywhere? (I'm starting to write one up of the important-ish parts but I don't want to continue it if there's already one that exists.)

From what i understood during the streams the teenagers in TFS where living at the boarding school as students before the apocalypse and now stay there as survivors.

  • Yeah, that makes sense, because in the art of the Headmaster's office, there's a picture of the headmaster and an arrow is through its head. Marlon is the only character we know that uses a bow, so it's most likely he had some personal beef with the headmaster.

  • For those that are debating Clem's age in TFS, refer to this official image that was on display at PAX. Look at how old AJ is here. There's no number, of course, but he's looks about 5 to me, which would make her 16 since she was 11 when he was born.

  • How long is the timeskip going to be? From what I've heard it is going to be somewhere around three years, but I don't know for sure.

  • I remember during the PAX Skybound panel that they said Ten (one of the kids at the new location) is 10 years old and has experience half of his life in the apocalypse. If that is 100% true, then that put Clementine at 14 years old and AJ at 3 years old. This would also mean that ANF happened closer to S2 that what many of us previously thought. This being if that description was 100% true and accurate.

  • Well, considering Ava gauged her as being 13 and Gabe was retconned into clichely being a year older in From the Gallows, I'd think that was obvious.

Also, writers can't do math because I'm pretty sure someone said Clementine will be 16 in TFS.

  • Everything about Clementine is ambiguous: her current age, her race/ethnicity, her skin tone, her last name, the correct position of her hair. What will TTG confirm and put to rest this final season? ...or maybe they'll just add more questions we want answers to.

  • Maybe, but probably not. Cause it's some of the only interesting things left about her, tbh.

Also, I'm sorry, but did you say the correct position of her hair?

  • If these kids are around Clementine's age, then doesn't that mean they would've been around her age when the apocalypse started? Are there boarding schools for elementary students?

  • Not that I know of. I think this boarding school is more for orphanage if these kids / teens were Clementine's age when it all started.

  • Yeah. Am I the only one that notice that the place where Clem's hair parts shifted and changed in ANF? Then again, I'm one of those spot-the-detail-nobody-else-saw-and-over-analyze-it types.

  • Does anyone else realizes that just because the location is at a boarding school doesn't mean that the place is run like a boarding school? I didn't see Prescott in ANF directing take-offs and taxing flights. The cabin group from S2 weren't a bunch of lumberjacks. Carver's community at Howe's weren't home improvement experts. The group in S1 wasn't performing room service at the motel. The location in the game doesn't necessarily dictate the type of community. And yes, I know one of the concept picks says grandmaster's room. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's a teacher or principle's room.

I think you’ve been hitting the kool aid a little too hard. If they want information to remain exclusive so it would have been worth it for those who spent money to be there instead of watching the entire thing at home for free, then they can. It’s their game, not ours.

its the truth " STOP DEFENDING WHAT IS NOT DEFENSIBLE "

  • We bought their games, and most of the buyers were not there, people living in Europe can not go to Boston to see 4 minutes of a gameplay, we give them money, we trust them. "Hey, you who buy our games, you will not watch the gameplay because you're not in PAX kkk" It seems that only those who are a real fan were in PAX. Sorry for my english

  • It doesn’t matter if we buy the games, they MAKE the games and I can tell you that making games definitely isn’t cheap.

  • While I understand your position, how would you feel if you paid hundreds of dollars to attend an event and then everything revealed was available to everyone else for free? Wouldn't you feel cheated? Again, I understand your position here, as I too was disappointed about the "exclusive" footage, but it's been leaked online. It's not too hard to find it.

All that said, @telltale, perhaps a better way to handle PAX/E3/whatever exclusive rewards for attendees is not information that is not supposed to leave the room, but perhaps some swag. Nothing overly lavish, maybe some of those funko pop things or some shirts or even a code for a free game of choice (except for the game being showcased), redeemable on the TellTale website, which then gives a steam code to redeem the chosen game via steam? Something small like that so attendees do get something exclusive to them but the rest of the world doesn't feel like they missed out (well except for those extra entitled people who feel like they should have everything just because someone else got it, too).

  • Which is a fuck all amount of money in the first place. I’m not gonna pay $20 for a game and then get pissed only because the developers, the people who put their time and effort in an attempt to entertain us, held a single exclusive event that would be worthwhile for those who actually spent money to go. When they create their games I doubt they had constant whining on their minds over the smallest things that mean absolutely nothing, most of the info was going to get leaked soon after anyway so why are you even bothered?

It's the consumer money that pays them to make new games.

  • What are you talking about? I’ve always seen it as ripping people off by charging them a fuck load of money to attend an event in person when you can always watch it online for free, with better quality, better audio and there’s replay value, so giving those who actually paid for the information more news than people who watched it for free and who still got at least most of the news, it extremely fair, and it isn’t opinion it’s fact.

Yeah, real humiliating having someone tell you that if you wanted to see the full information fair hand you should have showed up. That’s half-assed, not unfair. The definition of unfair is to go against acting for equality, he only remarks that if you wanted more info n an EXCLUSIVE event then you should have attended, I admit it was extremely cheeky but it was not in any way shape or form unfair for the circumstances.
