I agree with you on the relationship thing. A lot of people think that in a zombie apocalypse people would just forgo relationships because survival is at stake but it's actually the opposite. Obviously people aren't gonna start
making out when zombies are breaking down their door but people want to be comforted and there's no better way to be comforted than to crawl into someone's bed and boink when you have a moment of peace. Furthermore, in a situation where a lot of people are dying, people's procreation instincts kick into overdrive and they want to have sex more because that's some built in lizard brain thing kicking in trying to keep the species from going extinct. That's been proven through science and psychology.
Well actually he is not right and here is why. Humans are social creatures, it is not enough to merely survive. People need reasons to sur… morevive, loved ones...people counting on them. Simply surviving is not enough for a lot of people. Alone in a world where it may seem hopeless...how do you not eat the end of your gun? So in as much as it is bothersome for some...relationships are important. People are people and will form bonds in any situation.
I never disagreed with you on that, it's what made season 1 the best season after all, great interaction between the characters, character development and indeed the relationships between them.
All I'm saying is you wouldn't have conflicting thoughts about sexuality or gender in a situation like that because you have more important things to worry about, that is a modern problem that's being caused by the nice folks pushing the gay agenda lately, I'm from the Netherlands I would know...

Right... I think the only thing gay people are trying to do is be allowed to live their lives as they are without being ridiculed and ostracized for it. I'm gonna assume you're straight because of your use of the term gay agenda. You take for granted the ability be openly straight in public. Man and woman kissing in a park, no one cares. That's all gay people really want, to be able to kiss each other in public without anyone caring or making a big deal about it. If seeing gay people be gay in public bothers you, that's on you.

You do realize we're gonna be playing as Clem, right? Even if Telltale DID go that route, it won't happen unless we as the player wanted it to. That's the only way.
Clementine isn't a transgender or homosexual. In all of the past games she has shown that she is perfectly comfortable being a girl. I hate the Gabentine crap, but it doesn't change the fact that Clementine was showing interest in the opposite gender. In the fourth season if Clementine is all of a sudden LGBT all it would be is an attempt to be "Progressive" and would be terrible writing beyond belief. I have nothing against homosexuals, bisexuals, etc. but this far into the story it wouldn't make sense for Clementine to come out as LGBT considering that she obviously wasn't in the past 3 seasons.
John Doe was a complete new character in S2 Batman The Enemy Within,he went from "see you soon Brucie" with his lipstick in S1 to "Hey Bruce it's good to see you !" and S2 never said anything about what happened in the bar.
So if they want to rewrite Clem's sexuality or something else at this point they can do anything with her.
And don't forget we are playing as her.
I know she was showing interest in the opposite gender in S3 but this was out of nowhere too,she went from totally innocent in S2 talking about "kissing stuff or gross" to suddenly liking Gabe and having a crush on him.
I hope you get what i'm saying.
I just wanted to say that, and before someone reply to me and talk shit,i agree that a romance is the last thing the Final Season need right now.

I agree with the transgender thing, she's never expressed any gender dysphoria issues, but she very well could be bi, which means likes boys AND girls. Just because she kissed Gabe doesn't mean she can't also be kissing on some girl later. Also, to your argument that she hadn't came out as bi in the last 3 seasons..well . no fucking shit. First season she was 8/9 and thought kissing was gross. Second season was 11 and may as well be ace for all the interest she showed in anything (because again, she was 11 and it's perfectly normal for kids that age to still be uninterested in kissing and sex and stuff). 3rd season she's 13 and had her very first kiss. 13 and her hormones are awakening, stirring up such thoughts.
All that said, I don't care if she is bi or not. Ideally, if TellTale does anything romantic with her at all, it'll be entirely up to the player so if the player wants her to be the gayest gay that ever gayed, she can be. If they want her to be straighter than a steel rod straight out of the mill, she can be. If they want her gettin' jiggy with wangdoodles AND vajimjams, she can do that. And even if they want her to be ace/aro and not romantically or sexually interested in anyone, she can be that, too.

If there is the option to make Clem bisexual I really wouldn't care so long as it is 100% determinant. In all honesty I don't see the point in Clementine having any romantic affiliations in the final season she has to raise a 4-5 year old boy in a world gone to hell. She doesn't have time to be conflicted about her sexuality when she is constantly struggling to keep herself and AJ alive. I just want a season about the struggles of survival not some melodrama about how it is important to embrace your true self.

I never said that. All I said is that Clementine is obviously comfortable being a girl so there is no way she is transgender and she has shown no interest in having a romantic relationship with other girls. Don't tear your hair out. I'm not making attacks at LGBT people. Personally, I would like this season to be an apocalyptic story about survival, not some movie drama about people dealing with being bisexual and what not. Clem has more important things to worry about than being conflicted about her sexuality and what not. Such as I dunno, keeping herself and AJ alive in a chaotic world? Dealing with whether or not you're straight, gay, bisexual, or whether or not you think you have XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes is a luxury we have gained from the relatively safe world most of us live in, in real life. When you swap realities to a world where everyone is constantly struggling to stay alive dealing with your sexuality is a problem that is out of the question because people have infinitely more important problems to worry about. I'm sorry if I offended you, but let's not get too invested in social and political problems. Like I said, I have no personal problems with LGBT people. Like I said, I just want a good story about survival not sexuality and crap.
You were trying to make a point...the point was a bad one...people change when new situations present themselves. Now I will say again, that any romance should be handled as a detrimental choice by the player. I just feel that not having a choice with romance...either way is a bit lame and boring. Characters grow and have needs socially.

What is the obsession on these forums with making straight characters (sometimes already established with their own lore) gay or bisexual? Clementine is a grey area though considering her age we don't really know what she is into.
I'd be alright with Clementine's being open would actually be kinda hilarious too if you could respond to that flirty character which was teased that I prefer women. (It was a funny choice in witcher 3 as Ciri when they were all asking if I fancied that one dude).
Great.Another one of those again, what were you thinking when you posted this ? I've said it before but please stop with these posts this is just making things worse.
And that gif isn't helping too, these threads can get out of hand really fast.
I'm surprised and happy to see things were doing okay so let's not do this again.

I think telltale need to make their own original ip/story to have more freedom with relationships anyway to satisfy this need for more types of relationships to be formed (rpg style). Like using established ip's they may have some restrictions like maybe Marvel wouldn't want Drax x Peter (lol imagine) or maybe the creator of the Fable comics wouldn't want Bigby having a relationship with Beast. Not saying they wouldn't green light it but there are definitely some restrictions when using someone else's ip for your game.
I did read your post yeah i guess i was triggered for a moment lol

And i love how John just ditched her in the Vigilante path.

I think your entire argument is invalid. Clementine and with the exceptions of Glenn in season 1 and Jesus in Season 3, every character in the entire series has been an original character. There's no one to overrule TellTale about the characters because TellTale invented them. They could have made their own ip and the result would have been the same, original characters that no one up a chain can complain about.
I also think TellTale isn't interested in developing their own ip. Creatively, it's easier to take an existing ip and use that, even if you make entirely original characters, because the world building and lore is already done and you know it works and people are interested. It's even easier if you use existing characters, like the batman series, because you don't even have to develop them. You use the source material to get their appearance and personality and make a story with it. The only tricky part is making sure things stay within the confines of their established character traits, like Batman isn't gonna suddenly pull out twin uzis and start mowing down thugs, no matter how cool it may seem. But again, make an original story set in an existing world and they save time on world building AND get to do whatever they want with a story and characters so long as it doesn't contradict already established lore (so no Lee running up and hanging out with Rick Grimes or crawling into bed with Lori while Rick is still in his coma).
I think telltale need to make their own original ip/story to have more freedom with relationships anyway to satisfy this need for more types… more of relationships to be formed (rpg style). Here I am hoping for discussion on the settings we will see in TFS, how the combat could work, predictions for the new characters, potential choices we can make.... It also annoys me how a lot of people nowadays consider it to be crucial to make sexuality an important feature of stories in order for it to be good, but we should keep this stuff directed towards the game content not derogatory comments about other people.

Damn, you're right. I have failed my children.
This discussion has turned into a talk about gay people in general
Perverts, could you at least wait until episode 1 of the final season comes out before you continue with this sick idea?
Just a reminder to keep discussion focused and pointed on Walking Dead and not social/political issues! Thanks.

Sure it does: lesbians are specific, while gay is general.
