It's pretty much guaranteed we'll get more information at E3 including a release date and trailer.

I wouldn’t say a release date and a trailer is a guarantee at E3 but some sort of news was always going to happen so hopefully it’s something interesting.
I'd hope so considering it's the last big gaming event for awhile and it'd be better for telltale to release a trailer and information at an event like E3 instead of just randomly uploading a trailer on YouTube.

They will definitely go with tfs the way they did last year with mcs2 reveal and gameplay trailer...but we will likely get an official trailer with a release date hopefully.
E3 is pretty big but there is also San Diego Comic Con in July (July 19th- 22nd) and if they need to wait longer PAX West is from August 31st- September 3rd.
They could also just release it on social media by hyping things up first and then do the big reveal at a specific date and time.
Edit: I forgot to add that E3 is possible but i'm not going to get my hopes up yet.
There's a lot of hype surrounding TFS, however I can't help but feel skeptical about it due to the massive letdown that was ANF. I was a HUGE fan of season 1 and a semi-huge fan of season 2. Then when ANF came and went I was in an "ehhhhh.........idc" kind of mood. I'm glad to hear TFS is on its way, but I can't feel hyped about it.
This is why I'm expecting an incredible teaser trailer for TFS. TTG needs something to generate hype. We're too early for a launch trailer like the Season 2 one, but something needs to be shown to say "this is the final season and we WON'T be shifting away from that." They need some trailer that says this is *TFS, this is the theme, and the creative team is sticking with it all the way to the end.
I bet Episode One isn't coming out until September or later. I mean I'm glad they seem to be taking their time but I wish they'd communicate better so people don't have to keep getting disappointed. Granted I've been saying this since 2012.
Telltale replied to a fan on Instagram, looks like we are getting The Walking Dead: The Final Season earlier than expected. Most likely the release date will be announced at E3 alongside either with screenshots or a trailer.

Still really wishing Telltale gives info about Walking Dead before E3. Its honestly a better idea.
E3 is where everyone is just stroking and waiting to unload all at the same time. Telltale is just a small company that is already been falling hard off the radar, if they are going to wait to blow their load and mix it in with everyone elses, its gonna be overshadowed and get less views than if they did it before E3 so they get their own spotlight for a little bit.

This has to mean the release date will be revealed at E3. I mean “very soon” can’t be more then like a month and a half.

you guys are jumping to conclusions. All he said was he’s more interested in news regarding the last of us 2 than anything from Telltale. That doesn’t mean he dislikes Telltale, they just don’t pique his interest atm. He probably still likes to talk about theories and all that from their past games

As @Cosmic_Boy said, i still like discussing anything walking dead related here but i have no interest in anything new that Telltale are making simply because my faith in the company has gone. Unless they replicated the way Season 1 was in their future games, I won’t be wasting my money on their poor quality games anymore.
