I'm just hoping at this season will have multiple endings that will cause it's replay value to go WAY up. And not like, "you make one choice near the end and it affects everything". Like what we saw in Anf, a choice here and there through episodes affecting the outcome of Clementine's ending choice. One of the things I liked from the last season. Or maybe, I can settle on a hybrid of both. We'll see.
A New Frontier took place a year or two after the All Out War Arc in the Comics. I think The Final Season will be pretty much up to date and will take place during the New World Order arc that is currently ongoing. I am sure there are others here who can explain it better than I did.
Am I the only who’s wondering, what the heck happened during the time-skip? I want to see Clementine reuniting with AJ at The Mccaroll Ranch, maybe in a flashback?
Because I haven't seen anyone post the info from the news post, I figured I'd do it.
So what's in store in The Final Season? Well... after years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be Clementine's chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends.
As she builds this new life, you will have to grapple with new types of choices as AJ looks on, learning from your every move. A new over-the-shoulder camera system, greater freedom to explore detailed environments, and scenes with unscripted combat create the most engaging The Walking Dead game yet. And the all-new Graphic Black art style brings the world of the comics to life like never before, especially if you're playing on a 4K- and HDR-compatible device.
Everything about that description is one big "Yes" in my book, I hope it proves true. Also, a couple of screenshots.
Vanaman was pretty successful. I heard Firewatch is amazing and from what I seen from In The Valley of The Gods it looks to be an interesting title. Only backlash he received was threatening to copyright strike PewDiePie's Let's Play of Firewatch due to PewDiePie using a racist remark during a PUBG Stream.

From this, I’m certain we’re going to get several different endings: one where Clementine dies, one where AJ dies, one where both of them die, and one where they both live.

My favorite season so far is the first. The second episode is my favorite of the series so far (if you couldn't tell by all the Mark jokes I like making on the Telltale twitter). PLUS it was my first Telltale game EVER, so.... I have a special place in my heart for the first season, like a lot of folks

I am truly sorry for annoying you throughout the day. I have got one final question for you and if you are not allowed to answer then I completely understand.
But my question is: With The Final Season being 4 Episodes long can we expect longer Episodes? Like around 2 hours or so? I know there is only so much that you can discuss and share and it is evident that you have shared quite a lot today. I am incredibly sorry for being a migraine

FYI, just to clear this up sooner rather than later... this teaser was custom-made (i.e. this scene doesn't appear in the game), but it was written and directed by our season-leads and made in-engine.
Nice episode 2 was really good, I agree I'm curious now, is Season 1 your favorite Telltale game out of all of them? If it is what's your favorite Telltale game outside The Walking Dead?

As tempted as I am to pre-order, I'm not going to. TellTale's recent projects have made me wary of pre-ordering anything from them. I'll just wait for episode 1 reviews before deciding to buy. I may even wait until the whole season is released so I don't have to wait between episodes and with the added bonus of it likely being on sale at that point.
I do like that tease at the end of the trailer though, hinting that Clem is teaching AJ to do whatever Lee told her to do with him at the end of season 1. For me, AJ's response would be "shoot you in the head before you turn."

I'm pretty good at living under rocks. I'll just avoid these forums and not watch any let's plays. Outside of these forums and let's players I watch, which I can purposely avoid, it shouldn't be difficult to avoid spoilers.

By then, you may already know everything there is to know about the game, that is if you haven't decided to live under a rock...
Probably just a red herring, to be honest. Based on some kinda cryptic tweets from TellTale people, I expect in the end the players will have to choose between sacrificing Clem to save AJ or letting him die to keep Clem alive.

I mean, I have been spoiled on this specific spoiler at least 4-5 times now, (have only watched till season 6), and I dont even browse anything remotely TWD related, (except this forum on occasion, though this forum for some reason doesnt care about spoiling the TV show here even though its unrelated)
Also been spoiled on another big character death I guess

I think i already know what you're gonna choose if that happens..

I am genuinely curious as to how long the Episodes will be.... Hopefully we get Episodes around 2 Hours long.
Actually correct me if I’m wrong but The Final Season has gone passed the comics timeline.

It is my very unpopular opinion that even with there only being 4 longer episodes, we're STILL gonna need that usual 5th episode?

Like this comment if you want The Slaughterhouse to be a location in The Final Season
@mostlypoptarts What is your favourite Season of The Walking Dead Series so far?
ohh sssssssssssmmmmmph... I pass
I'm so hyped.
Am I the only who’s wondering, what the heck happened during the time-skip? I want to see Clementine reuniting with AJ at The Mccaroll Ranch, maybe in a flashback?
If it's likeness in TFS means there's gonna be some serious bloodshed, then yeah, I want it in.

Same here. Hopefully, he'll have somewhat better luck than Mr. Vanaman apparently did.

Oooh, THAT's what it was!
Okay then, my mistake.
Oh, man...all I’ve got to say about this trailer is:
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Starved For Help is also my favourite Episode

I hope there is going to be a season pass disc
But hey, it can still be assumed canon right? Like something that takes place before the events of the game? : p
Yessssssssssssssssssssss

The only thing Im worried about right now is how theyre setting it up to easily have the ending be a rehash of season 1 (Clem dies to save AJ)
I do like that tease at the end of the trailer though, hinting that Clem is teaching AJ to do whatever Lee told her to do with him at the end of season 1. For me, AJ's response would be "shoot you in the head before you turn."

Believe me, there is NO escaping spoilers lol. Remember this?
There was no avoiding that for anyone. They will find you
Sure but this game isn't as big as the series was, and outside of these forums and let's play videos, most people won't have reason to discuss it.
I think i already know what you're gonna choose if that happens..

HAHAHAHAHA probably. I've been vocal enough on the forums. I think anyone who visits even semi regularly will know what I'll do. AJ gon' die! lol
That fish looked real tasty. The first casualty of the final season. In memoriam, fish. RIP.
(also, great looking trailer!)
I just realized they finally moved TWD subforum above Batman.
