Please go back to the old Menus for Season 4
This is overall a minor thing but I think most fans will agree: We really miss the old unique-each-game-menus. Ever since Batman S1, every menu Telltale makes has had the same UI. It isnt the most important thing in the world but it takes away from the games uniqueness, it just starts making every Telltale game feel the same and not as original. Its a really minor thing, but I think this small change of making menus unique and different each game will do a good job of showing that Telltale is more interested in being creative and different instead of doing the same, as the menus often imply.

This. A menu like Michonne (or even S2) would be really cool. They truly had amazing menus.
I second this. A games UI can add a ton to an already well established tone and atmosphere. Having a unique UI is very important.
Please take this into consideration, this means a lot to us fans @mostlypoptarts
Alyssa was moved to The Wolf Among Us Season Two dev team. She is the Creative Director for that project
tfw just gonna retag @mostlypoptarts cuz I dont think editing to tag someone actually alerts them AHEm sorry poptarts homie
IT DOES. IT DOES ALERT ME.

I mean seriously guys you don’t have to tag her in EVERYTHING.
To paraphrase the UI artist working on our menus (and end stat screens, which I've seen mockups of and are SUPER COOL): "they've never seen this before."
I think you'll be pleased with the menu, but as always, feedback is welcome on the screens once you have the game in-hand if that's not the case!
Just as long as they don't have clickbait, then sure.
An original menu (basically) confirmed. That’s actually dope.
Thank you for the communication Caroline
Tell the UI artists that the GOTG and MCSM s2 menus were dope
Well the menus inthe background were but the UI was still the same as their other past games instead of a unique UI
Season 2 menu was the best, got a beautiful aesthetic and some symbolism to it.
That is fantastic and exciting news to hear Caroline thank you so much for informing us!
While I personally did not mind the UI that was present in Walking Dead A New Frontier I really enjoyed the Season Two interface. It was very unique and innovative. It helped differentiate Walking Dead to other Telltale Games. I am excited for what you guys have in store for us. Thank you so much for taking the feedback that users suggested into consideration!
Here is to an amazing Final Season with Clementine!
I also really liked the S2 menu, it was quite original and added more atmosphere to the game.
Since when is an early 2000’s looking ass image of a house better than a camera pan through a certain area? Also I’m not expert on game development but I’m pretty sure it’s too late to be asking for these sort of things.
Double post
Yeah i liked the season 2 menu, and i hope they bring it back, but do you know what they need to bring back too ?
Rewind.
Double post.
And you know what Telltale might try to do? A Deadpool game.
That isnt UI, UI is the user interface, that is the background. GOTG and Minecraft S2's main menu background are way more complex and interesting than ANF and Batman S1 and 2, but all of these games use the same UI which once you leave the main menu makes them all feel the same, and we'd prefer if Telltale went back to having unique UI's each game
Also “next time” segments. It was nice back in Season 1, Season 2 and Michonne when you’d make predictions based of the teaser you got from that Episode. In A New Frontier you literally had to guess what was coming, this was boring and lazy.
I can understand next time being gone because cliffhangers, but I personally wish they were still around, it was fun to speculate.
Rewind however really needs to return, feels like when Telltale removed it, it was for some other reasoning because clearly people still want it and use it.
Tbf I was too lazy to read the thread, I instantly thought you meant the menu scenery. But still, the old UI was shit anyway
YES. YES PLEASE. I WAS GONNA POST THIS AND YOU STOLE MY UPVOTES
The background that changed based on which episode you finished in Season 2 was glorious.
It's also extremely satisfying to "scroll through" each tab, and seeing the full picture across the screen instead of tucked in the corner.
I really miss the old menus.
Also, would you want a Wolf Season 2 Without This?:
To that effect, I say make the "next time on" segments and "previously on segments" consistent.
Batman Season 1 had "Previously On" segments, and you were easily clued in on what you did previously. Season 2 just has this vague monologue and camera pan across the environment you left off. Sure, it's cool. But not so useful for those who don't remember.
Batman Season 1 had "next time on" segments, and while they weren't accurate sometimes (due to dreaded rewrites), they were thematically and situationally. Some events happened, but sometimes in different locations. (Like E2's tease of Batman and Catwoman working together at a shipping yard, but that ends up being at the Mayoral Debate. Season 2 had none of that (though I kind of enjoyed it for the season).
Half the reason I really want them to go back the original menus. Wolf's menu had so much atmosphere in it, and I would feel pulled out if I start it, has Bigby walking like this all again, but when you hit play it goes "Yup wrap it up, get the tiles out, yup, nice and bland and non moving."
