Beautiful trailer. Glad to see AJ will actually be a proper character now. I'm most looking forward to seeing Clementine and AJ's relationship grow similar to how it happened all those years ago with Lee.
Visually looks great too, it's a drastic improvement from previous seasons and honestly, anything Telltale has ever made. August get here faster!
Things like "episode is too big" is a straight up lie. The rest are opinions but are very much in the majority. Most people would agree with all the opinions about ANF with its lack of character development, interesting story, ect. Although they are opinions, it is a fact that most people found ANF to be pretty bad. So just because something is an opinion, doesnt mean it isnt true overall and shouldnt be brought up to criticizes Telltale.
Cool trailer, still looks weird how Telltale's engine doesn't render shadows from hair. It makes it look off
I am a bit angry how PC players don't get the previous seasons if they pre-order.
i think im in the minority here.the trailer does nothing for me, always hated the forced AJ ,would of rather seen glimpses of the gameplay,im not expecting much from the game apart from maybe a Lilly/Christa return,Clem death, and a school of teenagers doesn't exactly float my boat
What a lie? They even stated that there was a certain episode that was too big and needed to be divided into two parts. Check before posting unlikenesses.

What the hell are you talking about? It was an obvious lie and a slap to the face. Batman S2E1 was 2h20m long and ANF's first two episodes combined were only around 2h long. They made it sound like both episodes were so damn big that they had to split them in two. How can you defend that? They blatantly ripped you off - you're essentially paying for 4 episodes (hell, probably even less considering how short ANF's episodes are) for the price of 5.

Uh... I think everyone knows Ties that Bind part 1 and part 2 was 100% not "So big they had to split it" they just lied about it so it seemed like ANF was going to be huge. The two episodes combined arnt even 2 hours, and there isnt any incredible branching choices in either episodes to justify the "scope" of the story. Its incredibly linear for everyone who plays these 2 episodes that were "split"
I mean fuck man, Telltale has done longer episodes than both Part 1 and Part 2 together. Tales from the Borderlands episode 5 is almost 2 and a half hours long.

Well she or "they" did a dandy job teaching him how to not only speak but sing ? properly for his age... Reading and writing should be a walk in the walker infested park..no??

I'm not really sure what to think yet.
Looks like it will be more gritty and grounded than ANF, at least. And how big is this time-skip? AJ sounds like he could be 9 or 10.
As for the art style, Clem looks better but AJ still has that weird uncanny look to him, especially with his afro. (not heeding Lee's advice again, Clem?)
FYI, just to clear this up sooner rather than later... this teaser was custom-made (i.e. this scene doesn't appear in the game), but it was written and directed by our season-leads and made in-engine.
Firewatch really is a good game. The story isn't as dramatic as most story games but that is the beauty of it. The story feels as though it could exist in real life. Vanaman really is a great writer. The game is mostly linear but there are some interesting branched out conversations and the character development and the script feels so natural. I remember there were quite a bit of people who were upset with the ending and I was too initially, but the more I think about it the ending was great considering the story it was trying to tell.
Vanaman was pretty successful. I heard Firewatch is amazing and from what I seen from In The Valley of The Gods it looks to be an interestin… moreg title. Only backlash he received was threatening to copyright strike PewDiePie's Let's Play of Firewatch due to PewDiePie using a racist remark during a PUBG Stream.
I was considering buying it during the Holidays as I wanted to buy all Telltale games and games that had relation to Telltale (story, character development) etc. But I chose not to. Not sure why I didn't as I saw gameplay and it looks amazing. I will definitely be picking it up sometime in the future ? And thank you for the information

There was another that did mostly reviews of season one and theories of season two before season two's premiere episode called spreadlovenotstds I think. He disappeared too and had the most intelligent theories I felt. Gameoverent was decent but listening to his voice wasn't.

? He sounded normal to me, and some his theories were just made to kill time while the newer seasons were on their way, which was what I liked. His theories gave people something to talk about and they were interesting too.

Great teaser! Once again, they keep teasing us about Clem's death, that's not surprising, it keeps people invested into the story and it's like a tradition by now. Honestly, if they go for the multi endings route or what they did for the Batman the Enemy Within episode 5, they may have an ending where she dies, especially if it's the last season. I wouldn't be against it if it's well-done even if I prefer that she survives all the way. I would find it funny if they do another fake death scene like they did for Javier in TLF, just to troll us.

Clem runs RIVERS
It just means she can be a mom now.
Please, just no more talk of rivers
I agree. Let's talk about frozen lakes!

Oh, I think you just triggered @Lilacsbloom
Soon™er than I thought, should be interesting.
I wasn't referring to that part.
Clem's hair actually casts shadows to her face now.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead: Heather trailer was released yesterday:
Well, doesn't that throat slitting technique look familiar?
Still, it's a good trailer.

Sorry if I hurt you, my dear.
i was just about to point that out
This looks like it could square off with the last of us

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding ... I ended up misunderstanding that I would be lying about the episode. my bad.
Let's not talk about frozen lakes ;_; FROZEN LAKES MAKE PEOPLE GO STUPID!
I cant help but be reminded of the beginning of One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest when I watched the intro. They both start out with the same song
I lurked when the concept art of the boarding school kids was released, but BABY IM BACK
Welcome back!
While @mostlypoptarts is here - was the Piano song in the trailer original or pre-existing?
OMFG THANKS MOSTLYPOPTARTS (I'VE BEEN NOTICED ?)
It's a combination of two songs, according to our video producer -
I'm not really sure what to think yet.

Is this a canon scene that happened during the time skip? Or is it more akin to the season 3 teaser?

You need to repost this in the meme and fun thread so a greater variety of people can see it. It is too perfect not to.
Already did XD but thank chu.
