Well, he wouldn't have killed a man, wouldn't have gone to jail and would've had to try to survive the Apocalypse with his wife. Maybe they still would've met Clem and kind of "adopt" her as the child they never had.

Then it'd be Lee, Christa, and Omid. Omid would still be alive because Lee would've been with Clementine, watching over her things during the bathroom scene. Christa probably would've had the baby. They'd never have met up with Kenny.
As healthy a thought as that is, it's still entirely possible.
Clementine and Christa were in North Carolina because they also heard about Wellington and were moving north in search for it. Really, it's the six or seven day discrepancy that could make the biggest difference.

i had an idea a few years ago about how they could bring back Lee without too much fuss if they wanted to,it was along the lines of he fainted through blood loss at the jewelry store and Clem obviously fired past his head as she could never put a bullet into Lee,anyway it was Lee regaining conciousness and setting out from Savanah to find Clem in the countryside,after he told her to find Omid and Christa,so would never of wrote Omid to be killed off 2 seconds into S2 and my idea would be that you would play as Omid/Christa/Clem group and then switch to Lee trying to find them along the way,and Clems radio cracking into Life with Lee's voice on the other end.
Kenny could have been bought back into a different s3 version like they encounter him at the lodge at a later date but with the survivng season 1 characters rather than the cabin group
