They meant that they wish it was 2017 again so they have more time to speculate what wll happen in The Final Season. Or so I think
I've got a good feeling about this one too.
They are ballsy this year, they let us play a demo that can stretch for 20-25 minutes so I imagine the episode is pretty long.
If you look on Youtube at different Youtubers playing the demo you'll see the official TT Games YT Account thanking them for playing the game, pretty neat.

I have had a great feeling about The Final Season since it was first announced. I didn't expect to see the type of work that they have done for The Final Season. I am really confident that this Final Season is going to be an unforgettable hit!
It's been a long and intense journey and I have faith that there will be future Walking Dead installments after Clementines story is over. The final season is going to be amazing and very emotional and it is a privilege to be able to be a part of such an awesome community for so many years.
I remember when this season was first announced and all we had were the concept images, I was REALLY skeptical about the game (I liked the designs though - like Louis)
But ever since the change in staff and just the overall involvement Telltale have had with the fans and the effort being put into it, I definitely have full trust that this season is going to be something great.
I want Telltale to fuck me up with this game (in a good way)

When I finally load up that last episode of TFS knowing Clem's story will be all over when it's done, it sure is gonna be a lot of feels to get through. I've been invested in this story for about 6 years now. I'm hopeful they'll be able to give us a satisfying conclusion.
