Marlon looks and sounds like he's gonna be a great character and very much different from what I was expecting him to be. I love the "I'm trying to protect you!" line.
Felt really raw and emotional.
Loved the trailer overall. Got some really big Lord of the Flies vibes from it.
From what I got from this trailer, it seems like he feels a lot of pressure in trying to keep everyone at the boarding school alive and safe, as a result of several losses that he might blame himself for. As a result, he makes questionable decisions or his decision making is impaired because he's desperate to not let anyone else die. Hence why you see Clem try and reassure him in the trailer.
And yeah, like @lupinb0y said, that line delivery was great.

I feel as if the best trailers are the ones that don't give away too much of the story, but still show enough to generate hype and excitement, and that's what (to me) we got in this trailer.

Gettin Luke vibes from Marlon. Glad he wasn't just getting boring after all.
Tenn and Violet being a chain more or less confirmed, if it wasn't callable to begin with.
Didn't expect Violet to sound like that.
Nice to see AJ takin in some culture from Louis.
Tomato soup for dinner.
Rosie taking a walker's head in her mouth.
Gettin saboteur vibes, though it could easily [be framed as] a stand together moment for Clementine, AJ, and the Boarding School.

Also, " * AJ thinks Marlon's super awesome!"
Easily the best Telltale trailer since the first Batman trailer. Marlon is by far my favorite character.
Also why is nobody pointing out how Rosie bit the head off of that Walker? She’s a very good doggo.
The artist side of me was shook at the stunning cinematography of that upwards camera angle of Marlon having a mental breakdown whilst the sky turns dramatic above him.
It gave me S1Ep2 vibes of when Lee was in the rain punching Andy.
After another watch I think my relationship with Violet is basically set in stone now.. And that relationship is called Triangle.
Oh you've wrapped yourself in a cloak of grief and push people away, And I push Triangle.
Oh you have survivors guilt, I push Triangle
Oh underneath your cold exterior your a nice person who wants to be Clem's friend, well I'm over here pushing Triangle.
Seriously if I can go the entire episode without ever talking directly to her, I'm gonna pretty damn happy.
Same. After ANF I thought TFS was also going to be unimpressive but after seeing first gameplay and especially this trailer I am convinced that TFS is going to be absolutely phenomenal.

Marlon's breakdown oooof. That gave me chills. I really love how they try to keep this calm composure throughout it all, but in the end they are still children who can and will breakdown when things don't go how they wanted. Really paints a better picture of Marlon despite his appearance being...gross.

Wow this made me care about Violet even less than before. I've seen this character archetype way too many times. Also, am I the only one who noticed Louis appeared for like, three seconds while Violet and Marlon got a lot of screentime in the trailer? That's kinda disappointing.
They will certainly have more time to win you over. The focus is obviously gonna be Marlon, but I doubt Violet's gonna be like that throughout the whole episode. And Louis certainly won't have only one line either. It's just a trailer and since Louis appears to be mostly known for his humor, they probably tried to keep it as grim as possible. And they succeeded.

It was obvious from day one that that'd be the case--Marlon and Violet were clearly meant to be the stoic badasses at the forefront behind Clementeen and AJ, with Louise being the charm slightly off to the side and Tenn being the meek little boy who is something of a solemn mystery.

From what Marlon said at the end, I’m guessing he’s gonna have a breakdown, similar to Kenny, and just start punching people.
eh, perhaps. I think he's too psyched about protecting people. It's getting to his head.

Spot on! I get that kind of vibe too. We're just so far into the apocalypse now, people's philosophies have changed.
I love Louis in this trailer. His voice matches perfectly with the character from what we've got so far.
Oh, can't forget Marlon and AJ throwing high-fives. Teary.
The trailer is awesome. Don`t get all these whines, it does not give away the story, it gets you hyped, what else can you ask for?
I just wanna say, Ray Chase seems to be doing a phenomenal job as Marlon. I'm glad he's the one voicing him.

Loved the choice of music and the pacing of the trailer.
100% agreed

Don't forget Marlon and AJ's high-five. Also, I like Tenn's facial expressions. He lost someone inportant.

Oh yeah, that too! That's probably the biggest reassurance regarding him.
Again, rather obvious, but nice observation.
Who you callin Nobody?
Can we talk about that cinematic shot with Marlon standing in the rain? That looks ominous AF.
That walker got A Whole Lotta Rosie
I'm more hyped than I was before. Wasn't that impressed by the teaser, but this trailer changed my mind.

I also didn't really feel the teaser but I absolutely love this I wish it was Tuesday already!!

My sweet, sweet pup!!!

Seriously.
Don't get the triangle reference.
She protec
but she also attac
Triangle is usually the silence option.
It's the silence option on PS
Oooh, that's actually pretty clever!
Is that what Rosie originally looked like back in April or am I mistaken?
And you're a whole lotta woman

Yup, subtle callback to Lee & Duck's high five.
I'm still processing. I've watched it 5 times already and I just... I'm ready but I'm not ready.

Probably the most realistically visceral reaction to have.
Or Clementine
