Does it have to be solely about sexual pleasure? Carver gave Clementine a speech about how the next generation has to be stronger than the last in order to lead everyone forward. How do you create that new generation? Need women for breeding. Maybe that's some leaders' idea of growing his community....would Lilly, a true survivalist at heart, resort to such a tactic in a leadership role?

Pretty sure anyone willing to commit pedo rape doesn’t give a flying fuck about the next generation.
would Lilly, a true survivalist at heart, resort to such a tactic in a leadership role?
Definitely not. I personally don’t view Lily as a “true survivalist at heart”, more like a broken leader with values specifically towards personal group survival.

Luke to Clem (S2 E2): "What is the most important thing in this world? What does everyone want? Even the gangs. What do you think they are after?"
The answer: "Family"....and how do you build that family? Sure, the method is dark and vile...but I could see such a leader thinking that the ends justify the means, especially in the apocalypse.
Assuming that the writers are going to recycle the same old "capture" and "rape" line is boring and short-sighted IMO...and as I pointed out with Luke and Carver in Season 2, such themes have been introduced (albeit in a subtle way), so I don't believe it is so far-fetched.

If Lilly is all about group survival, what if she comes to the realization that that survival depends on growing their community? She's had years to become unhinged, and plenty of reasons to be so. Kenny was originally supposed to be Carver in Season 2...we were robbed of our "former group member turned all-out baddie"....why not make it Lilly instead?

It's not pedo rape though. People tend to lump everything under 18 into that term but it's not. True pedophilia involves very young kids, like AJ, kids who haven't begun to sexually mature at all, generally up to around 10 yrs old. 18 is an arbitrary number most of modern society has assigned as "adult" and anything under is considered illegal except where laws specify otherwise (13 is the legal age of consent in Japan) but humans don't develop on a strict clock, all reaching maturity at the exact same age. There's a large range. One person might be fully sexually mature at 15 but another person might not be fully matured until 19. Assuming the twins are the same age as Violet (who I assume is around 16) they're likely old enough and developed enough to bear children. Also keep in mind that not even 200 years ago, it wasn't uncommon for girls as young as 14 to be married and have a child. Biologically speaking, being forced to bear kids at 16 isn't really any worse than being forced to bear kids at 25 or 30.

but the game is about zombies so you expect to see brains bashed in and gore
Yes but zombies is only a part of what the game is about. It's also about surviving with people's humanity being stripped away by the day to the point of zero in favor of selfishness survival or primal instincts to the point of almost reverting back to a prehistoric society. Mainly meant to immerse the viewer into the type of horrors the characters experiencing even the most disturbing ones. There may not be a need to show graphically the sex scenes but the implication of what is going on so you know something horrific or disturbing is taking place.
but children in sexual /rape predicaments i'd rather not see in any game or media art
There is the option of not taking part in the product or skipping over the extreme scenes. If I don't like what is on the menu I cannot make them change their menu that they felt best to put out, I must take it or leave it and go elsewhere. I think it is totally up to the creators discretion of what they feel necessary to put into their game. But if you have so many of their customers not being able to handle it then they may feel obliged to change what they didn't feel the need to. It's like AMC now dumbing down the gore in the show after so many complained on how gruesome the Negan line up deaths were in the show.
i can suspend my imagination for horror and everything that comes with it,and even most sexual scenes that relates to story, but the game is … moreabout zombies so you expect to see brains bashed in and gore, but children in sexual /rape predicaments i'd rather not see in any game or media art
It is backwards as shit.. When if I was still a kid I feel I'd be much more traumatized by a chopped off head or guy with guts falling out from a monster or even someone being beat to death with a bat, than some grownups bumping and grinding in the woods. Or in the case of rape forced bumping and grinding by one of the parties involved. What is closer to being natural is too much and what is not natural is more normal and okay. But if I ever felt the violence was too much I'd just turn my head away until I could one day stomach it, and not attempt to change an artists vision for his own work. Some stories need that grittiness to be masterpieces of work. Now some may take it too far if it's overly saturated but a little goes a long way. Kind of like the swearing in these games. They use the fuck word a bit too much that it nearly gets annoying, Nothing against using profanity but this is an example of some content being over saturated, same goes for violence and sex.
Probably american. Violence, blood, gore, it's all fine and even fun but as soon as sex gets mixed in it's over the line. Murica has weirdly… more reversed morals to most of the rest of the world. Anywhere else, tits and dicks and whatever are mostly ok, even on prime time tv; it's violence and gore that are big deals, as it should be.
For the record, I'm a murican but I recognize our puritan roots have greatly influenced our weird, backwards morals over the centuries.

I agree with you maybe Christa therefore comes back, and Lily is the leader of the group that has Christa.
P.S. I don't care about whether they sexually harassed or not honestly but whether Christa really is one of Lilly's slaves.
Clementine didn’t have a gun. He could have shot AJ, took clementine and shot Violet on the way out. Simple. We’ve seen characters take on multiple armed people before, such as Javier, Lee, Carley, just because Abel is probably not a central character doesn’t mean he can’t do it either.
Uh no. There's a time and place when you are outnumbered 4-1 stealing food makes sense cause you can take it and go, while taking the time … moreand attention to rape some girl(with a kid holding on a gun on you no less) makes no sense. Great way to get killed. And no, rapists don't naturally act weird or creepy around women. If you've ever been to uni you've probably known a rapist or two and never knew it because in public they act just like everybody else.
Sexual slavery is still the odds on favorite(like 1/99-1).
Telltale wouldn't have the balls, too dark of a theme. It's totally the first thing that popped into my mind when we found out the twins were taken, but nah. The comic would have the guts, but game devs in general are too worried about backlash for touching these themes. They'll could be forced laborers at best, no mention of anything sexual at all.
Also, dude, Telltale doesn't care about Christa. She never gets a mention despite being Clem's longest lasting protector. I lost all hope of them even mentioning her this season.
I just don't get everyone saying that telltale is afraid of the backlash, if they introduce these dark sexual things. I mean if there so afraid, that they have this line in the grass that there not willing to cross why have a M rating at all. I mean when I see anything with an adult rating I expect anything could happen.
It's just the way it is. Death, gore, guts, torture, violence, murder is a-ok, but as soon as something sexual comes up, game devs back away. Especially sexual violence. I personally think that's bullshit, but eh. As a rape victim myself, I'd love it if there were more stories out there that represented the trauma we go through.

Yeah i've always thought that's really stupid that people are that sensitive about stuff like that but are fine with killing, torture, beatings, etc. I guess well just have see how depraved telltale makes theses raiders.

If Christa is in Lilly's group then it would be more interesting her being in her side instead of a prisoner. After all they don't know each other and they don't know that they both know Clem. :-3

It's called reality. You literally live in a world with rule of law and yet rape is common. Women have to be careful. Get drunk surrounded by men and you there's a good chance you'll get raped. Let the law die(as it will in the apocalypse) and that will only get worse.

To add to that, there's a thriving sex slavery industry that exists in the world today. Something along the lines of 2 million women and young girls are forced into sex work against their will every year, most from poor countries where they live more like the people in the walking dead live than they live like people in first world countries do.

If they did end up taking this route they would probably just hint at it instead of straight up saying/showing it (kinda like in S1 ep2).

There are so many ways one could take that....
Listen I just doubt they are sex slavers...I just do not think Telltale has the guts to do that story line.
But rape is likely involved
If she signs up to lead monsters she's going to be Carver and Clem be One Eyed Kenny
It sounded like you wanted her to do that...or else.
If lily leads rapist monsters shes getting a face full of crowbar.

What I said in my previous post....and THIS!
Listen...while I am loath to trust a man named Hillbilly_Dave on the age of consent around the world...he does bring up valid points.
lololol
But for proof, because I did double check that it hadn't changed before I posted that, have this.
