Episode 1 was so breathtaking! Each and every character unique and with much to offer. I am so impressed with how incredible it was. So … moremany awesome moments. Here are my 5 favorite moments so far.
1. The Basement Brody Walker Scene
This scene was just so masterfully done. It was one of the first times I actually felt scared. Genuine horror movie levels of directing. One of the most phenomenal jobs by the devs in TT history. The ominous dark lit basement, with the flashlight flickering on and off to give you a sense of not knowing where you are, your surroundings a sense of panic. And you hear walker Brody growling, getting closer. And then out of nowhere she pops out at you and it just makes your heart sink.
Than of course the whole part where you are going up the stair case and the lightning flickers to reveal her face right behind you closing in. The smashing her head with the flashlight with the glow of the light bec… [view original content]
"Lee, His name was Lee, It was the same day I found out my parents were dead." Followed by "Yeah, Worst day of my life..." Those lines added with the facial expressions Clem makes, makes it one of the saddest scenes in the episode.
Louis: "............I am the greatest card player of all time "
Violet: "Just ask your damn question??"
I like it when they're in the same space. They're like water and oil.
Why can't a woman beat some guy's ass? Even though women are biologically weaker than men that's not the only thing that matters in a fight,… more hand to hand combat skills is more important and in Clem's situation she was in a better position and even if she is weaker she kicked him in his guts twice, it's hard to withstand that and it's not like she overpowered him.
this is the best opening episode they ever done for TWD, after it ended i couldn`t believe that actually happened. And the basement scene felt like a horror game, which was awesome, i was waiting for a jump scare around every corner.

I just watched the episode 1 scene when Brody, Violet, and Clem go fishing. Hearing Brody talk about going on a road trip and all, and then seeing her dying made me feel sad for her. Don't worry Brody, we're gonna go on that road trip one day
Also, I feel a little bad for Abel. He just wanted some food and I pushed him into walkers. Hopefully he won't be too mad
Yeah for all the 'Hunters' Brody was a really bad moany/whiny/Jolene but if you go fishing you can get more of her girl personality and that sweet voice.

Number 1 is pretty creepy and I was kinda scared.
Number 2 is pretty fun and a good way to get to know them
3 and 4 are good too.
5 is, my favorite one

Favorite scene: card game. A really great character moment like the ones present in the first two seasons.
Favorite quote: "Yup, I'm pretty much a badass". Don't think it needs an explanation .
I seriously really loved this episode, although i didn't actually hate ANF it's nice to see the world through Clem's eyes again and have more of those quiet moments full of good dialogue and interactions between the characters. I'm absolutely hyped for the remaining three episodes and hope that they each have this level of quality and care put into them.
I liked how when you're playing cards, if you take a bit to ask a question when you win, Louis will whistle and Marlon like bobs his head to it. It was cute.
I also really liked when in the end, if you call Marlon pathetic, he'll say he knows and he always was. Louis will say it's not true, but Marlon shuts him down and says it is, but Louis was the only one who couldn't see it.
It just made me really sad, and just... They were best friends, and of course, Louis didn't see it if you think Marlon is pathetic, you want to see the good in your friends. Never the bad. Especially your best friends.

I love the opening (first opening besides Michonne), being stuck in the basement with Brody, and pretty much every moment with Louis, especially when Clem says "bury me deep" (referring back to Louis' comment at the train station). I just love their banter.
The Brody walker scene and marlon's freak-out brought back good memories (for me) about starved for help....getting scared was something I wanted from ttg for a looooong time....and they delivered

Who is singing oh my darling Clementine .
Someone theatrical
Marlon's death. It shocked me and the rest of the episode felt kinda lackluster for me.

You're basically saying Marlon has no technique and cannot fight. Focus on what Marlon didn't do.
I actually meant that we caught Marlon off-guard but yeah.

Yeah, she did have a nice voice. Everything she said always sounded genuine.
I don't like Abel, but I like how he smokes. You can hear those deep pulls and exhales. A 20 min ASMR of him smoking would be great.
Everyone had a great voice in this episode. Ruby's was a little generic but it was still good. I liked when AJ said 'I don't know. It's loud.'
Not really a big fan of ruby......yet.
Aw sug. That's fine.
How can people not like Ruby's voice? It's Liara from Mass Effect.
What do you have against Jolene?
Best part was when Clem told that weird kid to stop staring or she'd bash the rest of his teeth out, didn't expect that one.
Disco broccoli
Who said this?
'PLEASE PLAY SOMETHING ELSE'
AJ: I don't like Goofball
Clem: Would you prefer Shitbird?
Me: I WOULD!!!!!
"Don't you dare!"
AJ as the last line of the episode. Should you chose to teach him to save the last bullet for himself earlier on.
Louis singing oh my darling Clementine was definitely my favorite part ???

Still haven't picked one, honestly.
Ohhh yea, i remember now, wish i told him to aim for the aim for the head
I'm glad I told him: Never Hesitate, coz that makes the most sense in the end. Especially after I beat Marlon down..

Agreed! You can tell they're good friends.
Thats my little girl...savage AF.

P much the whole episode is a favorite moment. A bit sad why couldn't really inquire further about each character's personality, though.

I think Tenn will have a lot of influence on Aj
That was kinda obvious with his reveal, in a somewhat good way.
