I just realized something - another Season 1/4 Parallel (spoilers)
Remember how in Season 1, the first walker we kill after the cop is who we assume is Clem's babysitter and it takes Lee 5 hits with a hammer to actually kill her? It's kind of an oddity, because almost every other walker goes down with a single hit, sometimes 2. I was watching a let's play and when Clem is having to kill Walker Brody, it takes Clem 6 hits to finally kill Walker Brody. The fight progresses in much the same way, too. Walker climbs on top of the hero, the hero hits them once to get them off of them, then the hero gets on top of the walker and hits them several times until they're dead dead. I wonder if that was intentional or purely coincidental.

As I was playing I was reminded of that scene in Season 1 as well, especially with Clem having to grab the flashlight (reminded me of when Lee had to take the hammer from Clem). My money's on this parallel being intentional.
Everything u see that has a resemblance to s1 is intentional....so that they make u think it'll end the same way....but it'll not.
Both the seasons first scenes end in a car crash where the protagonist is knocked out too.
Also when Clem adjusts the mirror like the policeman
A small thing I noticed was that when AJ hands Clem the knife during the car scene, it looks a lot like the scene in which Clem hands Lee the cane to block the door during A New Day.
