A possible ending theory...

I am pretty sure the final episode ending will be a major choice involving AJ and whether Clem has to do something drastic to him.
Could be a similar thing to Kenny and Jane but not a fight. AJ could be a great danger to someone that results in Clem sacrificing him to keep everyone safe.

What do you guys think the final outcome/choice will be?

I kinda agree, I think there will be a choice between sacrificing AJ or Clem. And maybe if AJ dies we can choose if we stay at the school or go back to Richmond.

  • What would you choose? Richmond or the school?

  • I think the "final choice" shouldn't be about Clem or AJ dying (we've seen plenty of beloved characters die, why do that again?) Instead, it should be a major choice about what kind of society/world they want to help build-- I feel like the S4 E1 intro-credits hint at this when they show the decomposing zombie silhouette turning into plants and yellow flowers, that there's the possibility for a new (hopefully better) world to grow in the ruins of the old one.

  • Hm I don’t really like the Garcias and s3, but since we probably won’t see them, A New Frontier seems a safer and better place compared to the school. And you?

  • Probably agree especially if the school is continued to be run by kids

  • Well I think Clem will take over as leader in episode 2.

  • Oh she definitely will 100% lol, the other kids can’t fend for themselves. Only Louis and Violet and Aasim have been shown to be capable of surviving so far. And Clem is obviously the best person to lead them

  • I agree with this. My first thought at the ending of episode 1 was AJ is going to be determined. He's already a loose cannon who seems to not learn. AJ probably has no humility in him as he never lived before it started.

  • I agree, I'm thinking that we may see a similar John/Joker situation when it comes to AJ: he can either become a ruthless heartless bastard, or a loose canon with good motivations, that needs to be put down either way. Telltale made it clear that AJ will be influenced by our choices, so I expect very different versions of him in Episode 4. Hopefully we don't have to take him out like the Joker in both versions of Episode 5.

  • So much for clems struggle for ajs life huh? it'd be lame for him to die but if TT Wana please everyone then multiple endings is the cure.
