I don't think so. That was so long ago.
I hope Telltale eventually spills the beans on their original plan/script for S2.
I hope that someday Telltale would remake the second season, how awesome would that be.
Yeah and the first season there was lots of scrapped content
And if telltale is switching to Unity, it would be interesting to see the first two seasons remade in that engine.
the original slide effect/music was replaced with something not as good, has anyone got the original sound effect to ep4 slide?
The “beta” soundtracks did/do actually play for each slide. They changed the music for A House Divided as soon as it was released. The In Harm’s Way soundtrack can still be heard but the water dripping (?) ambiance is just too loud. Last time I checked you can still hear the old Amid The Ruins soundtrack before downloading it in the iOS version of the game. The No Going Back track is the only one that never actually played, it was just found in the game’s files. As for the actual beta slides, I thought those were just concept art for each slide. Where did those pictures even come from? Were they found in S2’s files?
im sure i heard this ,amazing very Romero ish
In case anyone's wondering...
The original Season Two (if there's even a trace of it left) is stored away somewhere at Telltale, along with The Walking Dead: Season Three as well. Not A New Frontier, Season Three.
If you really want the original slides, I've got comparisons of them here:

Thanks
Where's the cap in Episode 3 there?
I think it's edited.
Ask the uploader.
No, you can't. A beta isn't just a seperate playable version of the game. A beta is a broken mess of software, barely identifiable as a game. Things don't change without reason. There's always someone(s) who say that this thing just doesn't work so they change it to the thing we know, because it works.
An "original" script for season 2 also doesn't exist. It sounds really interesting, because we know what we got and we would like to know, what we could've possibly gotten, but it's just not true. There are obviously ideas that got conceptualized, but ultimately changed because and that's true for every medium, they just don't work.
It's not like the pitch meeting went this way:
"Dude, we got a really good idea but let's do the worse one instead for no reason, okay?"
It probably went this way:
"We got a really good idea, but it probably won't work because of xyz"
"What if..." scenarios always seem more interesting than the actual thing we got, because we already know what we got and rather want to know what we don't know.
That's also why the "Snyder-Cut" of the Justice League movie is pure fiction.
With that said, a lot of people think that ANF is a mess, which it honestly is, but imagine why they changed it? Because there's always something that's worse than "a mess".
Well I'm 100% sure that they changed the story because it was darker for their liking but to me the darker the story is the better
There is apparently an initial outline and one for All That Remains, though.
I mean, yeah, you gotta have an outline for the story, but they developed it for almost a year in which every episode released. They obviously changed a lot from that earlier outline and probably for good reason.
I also would've loved a darker season, but sometimes it's just not worth it, if everything else suffers from it.
Season 3? did i miss something? was there a plan before ANF?
I think there was something about a slaughterhouse.
got a link or anything? im pretty curious
Apparently multiple ones. And a quest for vengeance(?). And Gabe, David, and Marinara being captives. And Javier being a shrewd, clean dude with a branding of his own.
Cut content from Anf. It includes the slaughterhouse:

During development, Season Three got completely overhauled. Even worse than Season Two did. The New Frontier were originally called "The Marauders" and enslaved people to take over territory. The brand mark was meant for slaves, you can see the mark on Javi's neck in the first trailer for the game.
He would've escaped and teamed up with Clementine to save his family & AJ.

Oh man, I wonder why they thought the season 3 story we have now was a better idea.
...
Is is just me or has Javier a different voice actor in that video then in the game?
I sure hope that's chocolate...--oh Ma-ri!
Honestly, the idea of a story focused on a dysfunctional and pieced together family in a apocalyptic environment isn't a bad idea.
He did.
It's not really a good idea from an interactive story telling standpoint. But it can work in movies or books where you don't have any control over the protagonist and who he likes or not.
Because it probably was. We don't know much about it, but there must've been a reason why they changed it.
