Is Violet trans?
Maybe she's younger than I thought (16ish) but she seems awfully flat chested. I know not all girls have giant boobs, I've dated all kinds, but every other girl in the series that has been old enough to have boobs has had or does have clearly defined boobs, even if they aren't very large. Violet, however, seems like she doesn't actually have any. Maybe they're just really small and her clothes are completely hiding them, but it just looks like she doesn't have any at all. What if she's trans and that's why she was at the school to begin with? It is the south, after all. As someone who was born in, raised in, and lives in the south, I can tell you that southern people are more likely to be religious and therefore less likely to be accepting of their trans children. "No son of mine is gonna pretend he's a girl! Off to a school for delinquents with you! That'll straighten you out!"

As for the school she probably got there because she looks like the girl that have problem socializing, and also she is gay so that’s that
Not sure if this is joking or not, but no she's no trans, and just because she's 'flat chested' doesn't mean she's less of a female than one with larger breast. If that's your main basis of believing she's tran that is a very poor basis of coming to that conclusion. Plus, I highly doubt that a preteen violet over 6-8 years ago was attempting to transition prior to the apocalypse.
Yes, she does. Not all trans women sound like a guy trying to sound like a girl. After years of practice they get really good at feminizing their voices, especially if they'd been doing it since before puberty, which would be the case with Violet.

She does have a serious attitude problem, so maybe that's why she got sent there. If they've been in apocalypse for 8 years, that means she would've been showing signs of being trans from the time she was 12. Most 12 y/o kids just go with their default genders and don't begin questioning themselves until they're like 14 or so, I'm not sure, I didn't get my degree in Transology
