It's beginning to feel that way. I feel like there's so many things we can discuss. The complexities of Marlon's morally grey character, how… more Clem is going to deal with AJ in the next episode, how his decision to kill Marlon is going to impact his character, who these raiders are and what they want, who the returning character could be, how much of a role the other Ericson children will play later, choices made in Episode 1 and their impact later, and much more. Yet a lot of what I see is shipping or Violet being trans discussions. Look, I'm not saying people can't discuss shipping, but it can be toned down a lot and relegated to a couple of threads, not takeover the whole forums. Whatever Clem's sexuality is is up to the players, and we really shouldn't be making such a big deal about it anyway.

My Clem realized it in New Frontier with Gabe, not by my choice of course because Telltale forced it upon us and was the most cringey and forced "shipping" that I've ever seen. When I was playing the first two seasons though, I thought she was way too young for that firstly, and she lives in a world where you have to be on guard constantly, and there's not really time for stuff other than surviving. If she gets the option for romance in the final season, I'm gonna say no every time because she has a kid to look after, and can't let her guard down because danger is around every corner.
Then again my Clem is a complete asshole to people (because I am an asshole IRL and that reflects my playthroughs) so maybe that's got something to do with it.

My Clem was too busy, watching the st johns die, watching caver get his head beat in, and killing others herself. My Clem doesn't think about love or relationships. She mostly thinks about murder.
When I can actually afford the game, I'll have two savefiles for both Louis and Violet.
So in my head, Clem likes both but she didn't realise she liked boys because of Gabe (yes I know her crush on him is canon regardless but I don't like gabentine so I ignore it) she found out because of Louis and she found out she likes girl because of Violet. I like to think Clem does low-key like both of them but whoever she spends more time with she ends up crushing on them super hard to the point it's really obvious to them.
I completelly agree that the romance and sexuality threads are getting out of hand, but saying that people wouldn't have time to think about romance and sex in a post-apocalyptic world is completely NONSENSE.
1- The outbreak was 7-9 years ago, people are used to living in this world, specially the young ones.
2- Its a extremely "boring/static" world, no TV, internet, study, professions (modern conception), you barelly find new humans and groups, etc...Its pretty much only scavenging, fishing/hunting and sleeping, maybe taking care of a farm or something alike. The spare time is gigantic. You don't fight zombies 24/7, 7-9 years in the apocalipse you probably don't see to many of them, a lot of them were killed, people learn to avoid them, and if you have a base for years the near area its pretty much cleared.
There is NOTHING to do besides that, so what a teenager would think of? Dont forget puberty...In a world without rules, no parents (Clem new group), no social and moral restrictions, no sexual repression...
