Well it’s more like likely for girls to be straight especially if they have kissed or had a crush on a bit before. It’s a cute little detail which I feel like a lot of people missed.
Still not sure why Violet would look/get upset if Clementine admitted to liking Gabe. (Mine did)
Clementine could be bisexual for all Vio… morelet knows. She could have liked Gabe and still be into her. Violet shouldn’t get discouraged just because Clem admitted to liking a boy. It doesn’t have to be just one or the other.
Clem's sexuality is completely DETERMINANT, she can be either straight or bi, nearly everything when it comes to Clementine's personality and characteristics is determinant at this point.
My problem is that so many people are upset about it and saying “it doesn’t fit her character” people can date whoever they want for all I care but when they start saying stuff like that and “Violetine supporters only support it because it’s lesbian” then I get annoyed.
Dude your clem will only be bisexual if you want her to be, do not need someone to tell you if she is or is not you who will decide during the course of your game.
She probably got desperate and would have sex with anything lol, I'm glad we have a choice of which gender to make her go out with, I would've preferred it if Aasim and Marlon were together though

I never really got the impression that Clem might be bisexual directly. Just because she can try to be friendly to Violet, a proper lesbian, doesn't automatically mean she'll become bisexual. I wouldn't mind it though, as long as it doesn't get in the way of the overall story.
I’m pretty sure that they both will still be your friends if you date one and not the other or if you date neither. Don’t be too worried about the romance.
I think it’s really likely that she’s bisexual but I guess we’ll only fully know next episode. If your clem doesn’t date Violet, her being bisexual probably won’t even at all be talked about so I wouldn’t worry too much. It mightn’t even be mentioned if you date Violet. I think telltale is gonna make it more about the relationships than what sexuality clem is in the relationship.

Well it's just pretty obvious Telltale has been setting up a few romantic option in Louis and Clem. I guess we haven't seen any direct flirting between the two yet, but...

Me too, honestly. I have nothing against homosexuality, but coming from Clem it just feels...off
I can't help but feel like they're just jumping on the bandwagon, like Look! Chloe and Ellie are gay, let's make Clem gay too!! Yayyyyy GAY PRIDE for the win!! But I think it just suited Ellies and Chloe's character a lot better than Clem. For them it made sense, but for Clem it just feels sort of forced.
That might not be the case for them making that decision, but considering they're a video game company based out of California, sometimes tells me that's the point they were going for.

Yes im not homophobic and it upsets me when people accuse me of being one when i state my opinion on this. Its not always necessary to bring a romance into a game, film or whatever. I have always felt that if you’re living in a zombie apocalypse, the last thing you should think about is romance because survival is what matters. If you were in a genuine safe place and i mean completely shielded from outside then sure! You can settle down and have a relationship and kids etc.

Dating a boy doesn’t mean you’re straight. My clem kissed Gabe but I’m gonna make sure she’ll have a relationship with Violet. That isn’t a good argument...
I don’t see how it’s forced. It’s never been said what sexuality she is. You all say it’s forced but how? You need to stop making such a big deal out of her sexuality. And what exactly does a character have to be to suit being bisexual? Do they need to have a rainbow badge and torquise hair or something? Do they need to know what sexuality they are when they’re a child? Most people don’t know what’s sexuality they are until they’re a teenager. They aren’t gonna make Clementine bisexual when she’s 8-13 and hasn’t even discovered who she’s is yet.

... But the fact that it's up to the player means that they can decide for Clem to be straight, because there's no indication of her liking females if she doesn't date violet, so yours isn't a good argument either. She isn't bisexual unless the player decides that she is.

Clem is bi, and black, and lighter-skinned, and female. Deal with it.
You want more straight, white men in ZA games? Go play literally just about any other ZA game.
It's not forced to wanna see ourselves as heroes in games when we're constantly ostracized in and out of fiction. You don't wanna support "SJW" stuff? Fine. No-one's forcing you to throw money at this game/series. But we exist, and we play these games, and we work at Telltale and other game industries, and we die at the hands of people with your ideologies every day when we're just trying to stay out of the way and enjoy life.
If it's "just a game," then this shouldn't bother you in the slightest. You have your safe spaces. Let us have something.

Who she's with does not determine which way she swings, which is apparently both ways. Who she decides to pursue (whether or not it's decided by the player) is not dependent on her orientation. Actually DO THE RESEARCH before you blast nonsense outta your asses.
Not really. It's like saying ''even though the player picks the pacifist options, Clem is still a deranged psychopath''. That's not how it works dude, the game's selling point is that you can decide who the protagonist is as a person

I agree with you completely. As another user replied, the romance option seems to be forced, especially with regards to Violet. I wish that they would just avoid romance entirely. I don't want any of this to happen. I don't know why they feel the need to explore a character's sexuality (and always make them bisexual for that matter). Unfortunately, the second episode (based on achievements/trophies) will allow players to romance either Violet or Louis, which honestly makes me less excited for the rest of the season.

Dating Louis doesn’t automatically make her straight. Unless Clementine has the option to say she’s straight, we won’t know her sexuality for definite if she goes with louis.

This is my opinion, and I’m standing by it. I think that it will feel forced. I’m not going to reiterate what others have said, though. Again, I would rather the topic be avoided. Simple. That’s what you’re not understanding. Telltale Games, as others have said, seem to be appeasing others for representation’s sake, as Dontnod Entertainment did with Chloe from Life Is Strange and Naughty Dog did with Ellie from The Last Of Us, Telltale is doing the same, I think, due to both of those games’ success. Either way, good day to you.

That has nothing to do with what I’m saying. I don’t see why that was even mentioned. I also don’t see why that “makes sense”. If you’re trying to suggest that I hate anyone, that’s not a true assertion of my character. Especially since I have already mentioned about avoiding romance entirely. So, please don’t assume the worst about me, particularly when you know nothing of my beliefs. That’s not fair and it’s not necessary.

Maybe. I was thinking there could be dialogue options like “Sorry I’m straight” but I just don’t see that happening I guess.

o_O excuse me
Well that ship sure came outta nowhere. (joking, but it is new)
Yeah, I suppose it just seems so for me now because getting to know the characters was a big part of episode 1 and the romance was implied.

Well we already do actually, she is,leaks confirmed that shit "Violet knows u got romantic feelings for er and shit"
anyway, who cares? it aint like Clems gonna smash Violet or Louis anyway
Relationships will be building and shit untill Violet/Louis dies
We won't find out her sexuality because it's determinant. If we date Louis she's straight, if Violet then bi, and if no one then it's undetermined
Well it's just pretty obvious Telltale has been setting up a few romantic option in Louis and Clem. I guess we haven't seen any direct flirting between the two yet, but...
Thats what i mean, there has been no actual indication that Clem likes Violet or Louis in a sexual way yet and i hope it stays that way to be honest

Why do we assume Clementine isn't asexual?
There's nothing in all four seasons that forces Clementine to have any romantic inclinations whatsoever.

ITS TIME TO STOP
Clem is either straight or bi based on the player's OWN DECISIONS, and she's mixed.
LMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOO

It was an example.

I've avoided every romance option yet, should be interesting to see how that plays out.
God bless you for telling the truth we need, but not the one we deserve.
Hats off for you mister.
