Would you have allowed Abel to join the group?
Now this would have been a particularly strange choice. When I think about it, one of the main reasons I attacked Abel was because the group really needed that food. And this was before me knowing that he could be apart of some possible sex slave raider group. With that in mind, If Abel had offered to be in the group would you have let him why or why not. I feel like I would of been more likely to let him be a part of the group, than let him just leave with some of the food that our Group had worked hard to obtain. I mean he could've been a valuable asset, he has a gun and has obviously been around awhile considering his age which shows experience.

I wouldn't let him be in the group, suspecting he probably has ties to other groups and would likely serve as a source of intel for that other group. The only way that might've happened is if he drew a gun on me and forced me to show him where the schoolhouse was. My guess is he'd probably acclimate to the group for a bit, then leave at the dawn of the night and go back to his original group to plan an attack. In my playthrough, I just let him go with some of the food to prevent immediately starting a war with his group. I'm sure he's gonna come after my group anyway again, probably suggesting I'd gladly hand him over food because I did it once before, and then there'll be a fight breaking out.
We don't really have anything definitive though on if he might be in a group, he could just be a drifter who left his previous group. My reasoning behind that, is that groups don't usually just send one person out of their safe zone to do stuff.
Yes, just because more characters usually mean more content.
Lol. Great answer.
