  • you cant help yourself when someone says something bad about Jane

Actually, I'm gonna have to jump in right there and say that's actually me. I cannot resist whenever someone speaks ill of Jane :D :D

Yeah and you cant help yourself when someone says something bad about Jane, that's your problem, just stop having a temper tantrum when you get the argument you were looking for.

  • I have not scrutinised you though. I accepted your opinion and gave my view. You did not like the fact that I ‘interrupted’ a ‘paramount’ conversation between you and Dex-Starr. This is the most ridiculous argument I have had in a long time and I bet several users are laughing their heads off. I do not blame them one bit.

Am I going to get scurnised everytime by you, for saying something bad about Jane?

  • Your a troll, and a fanboy. You can't stop yourself from replying to someone when they post something about your favorite fucking character. And then you play victim when someone decides to argue with you.

Also, @DabigRG sometimes comments on my posts when I am having a conversation with someone else and vice versa. Do you think I am that immat

  • Oh yeah, nothing too wrong with joining in on a conversation/argument if it's open enough to add/reinforce another point in it.

Long as you're not being too much of a dick about doing it anyway. Or if the conversation just isn't really worth getting involved in to begin with. coughKennyorJanecough

Granted, you should sometimes be aware of cases where hopping in might not be received very well or might just make things worse than the already are.

  • Also, Dem, if you can stop being needlessly politically incorrect like you should've after the first time, that'd be nice.

  • I did admit to @DEMVIDEOGAMESAREGOOD1728 that maybe it was wrong of me, but I did not mean any harm.

Just a friendly reminder, try to keep discussions civil and focus on arguing your point instead of personal attacks. (And also, don't use bigoted insults - even if sarcastically...)

Forum Guideline 1.1: R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Be respectful to other community members, moderators and Telltale team members. Avoid insults, hate speech, platform wars, and trolling. Keep any arguments focused on ideas and not personal attacks. We want the forums to be welcome to people of different backgrounds, so do not make hateful comments based on gender, race, sexuality, culture, religion, disability, etc.

I had to remove some posts to get the topic back on track. Let's play nice and keep things clean this time.

  • Nah, he had the episodes right. I'll grant that thanking David for shooting that girl in episode 4 or 5 or whenever was hilarious, but other than that it was a struggle to take any sort of enjoyment in the disappointment that was ANF compared to the previous two games. Which, shockingly, were both received generally very well by the majority of people playing them outside of these forums, where you'll run into the usual suspects who insist S2 were terrible by comparison.

Episodes 1, 2, & 5 are easily better than all of the ANF episodes. *Episodes 1 & 2. But to try and give you an answer, AN

  • Nah man. NGB was garbo. The only reason I wouldn't throw it in with the likes of AtR or FtG, is because of the Kenny endings. There's a 6 part critique on YouTube that's a real eye opener, even to someone like me who already despises most of Season Two.

Ah, come on. You didn't get any amusement out of the riots that are Javier, Tripp, Max & Badger?

"DON'T JUST FUCKIN' STAND THERE SMIRKING AT ME!"

Also, David shot Rufus, Fern's husband. And Javi thanked him afterwards. :D

Eh, it was ultimately okay-ish, from what I experienced. Aside from increasingly outright hating Jane throughout.

    Who, @marcost3?

Actually, Javier determinately thanks him for breaking Fern's friggin arm, which happens after you decide what to do with Rufus and before David decides to shoot him.

Garbage. Straight up, garbage. From beginning to (determinate) end.

PAVGN. As I stated, was a serious eyeopener, even for me. I recommend binge watching it, so you truly let everything soak in.

Whoops. I forgot things like those are determinate. My bad. Like how you can take part in Luke's ingenious plan to take out the Russians. Bonnie being able to live past the lake scene. Or Jane begging me to help her, when she told me to stay out.

  • The only thing I remember about Badger is Javiers book bag being stretched across the screen during the entire time I was fighting him. It was fun telling Tripp to stop bothering me about Eleanor, we're hiding in an apartment in a hostile city, get it together man. Can't recall the smirking line, but I executed my right to remain silent with Javier after he insisted on giving wtf replies in the first two episodes, except for the last one. Huh, maybe David didn't shoot her, I shot Rufus in the first episode so in that scene she pulled a gun on me, Kate got in the way to talk her down, and then David selflessly saved both of them. I had to break my silence on that one, he was the real MVP.

  • I remembered seeing that in the videos that came out before release, the episode worked fine up until I quit out right before the sequence. When I loaded back into the checkpoint a bit later the backpack was glitched out the rest of the episode, at least it didn't cover up the button prompts lol

That shit happened as early as the talk in the Quarantine.

  • Yea that was the scene I saw it in, I figured maybe it was just a pre-release build and it'd get patched, guess it didn't.

  • Four years ago I still remember that bad character, Ben..

It has been four years?! Goddamn. I remember watching the trailer for the finale. It literally broke my heart into pieces. It's still my favorite trailer of all time.

The episode itself was also good, I guess.

It just goes to show, some things never change

Speaking of things that don't seem to change, is it just me or does this particular forum have a really hard time realizing when an argument is going nowhere?

I swear, any time a thread like this pops up, it always seems to boil down to the same disagreements, where two or more people constantly go in circles trying to explain how the other guy's wrong, until one of them finally gets bored or pissed off enough. It's like a mexican standoff where everyone has short term memory loss, so they keep lowering and pulling guns on each other over and over again.

  • Well to me, Kenny Vs Jane was the biggest choice the game has ever presented to the player so of course people are arguing about it. It determined which of the 5 endings you got and it tore the community apart in a sense. So of course people are still fighting about it to this day

  • So Clementine nearly getting mauled by a starving dog, getting locked in a shed by an eclectically paranoid group, Rebecca having a baby by coercion if not outright rape, an entire Scavenger group getting almost completely massacred, Nick having had to shoot his mom, Matthew getting shot in the neck and falling off a bridge, Carlos being tortured in front of his daughter, Carver forcing Carlos to slap Sarah, Rebecca being told her baby will be separated from the group while her bloody from torture husband is unconscious ten feet away, Kenny getting his eye repeatedly bashed in, Troy getting literally nutshot by Jane, Carlos getting shot and eaten in front of his daughter, Sarita getting her arm chopped off, half of Jane's interactions, Kenny going rabidly angry, Sarah getting piled on by walkers, Luke beating himself up for not being able to protect everyone, Luke drowning in a frozen lake, and Clementine getting shot in the shoulder doesn't constitute a dark, miserable season?

  • We are all secretly hot-headed and crazy like Kenny..but we hate to admit it ?
