  • Legal issues mostly...if a company is quoted they have to do the investors bidding, so investors want big returns that means more accessible content, so they have to streamline things. Family owned company like Rockstar Games can take more liberties because they have the money to survive a fallout. And my brain hurts so i finna stop here

Why do they always have to rewrite cool dark stuff.

  • @colbyjack If Telltale kept what they were originally planning to write, it wouldn’t make sense in context with the rest of the season. Plus, darker events should only happen periodically because it adds emphasis and emotional impact. If insane events were occurring every five minutes, there would be no emotional response, and the flow of the gameplay and story would be compromised.

    On the money.

  • To be fair there are some reasons to think that there are raping raiders in this season:

    • Abel is being creepy towards Clementine
    • The raiders wanting only kids
    • And the moderate sex impact

  • To be fair. It wasn't exactly like the Raiders came to Alexandria and were like "you have three- kids and thirty adults we'll take the three kids." I think the fact they chose girls instead of boys is more telling than "kids"

twin are more likely to be more... Fertile. Than others so if the Raiders are trying to repopulate.

Guess you may of more or less felt the same way when half involved the period discussed last year?

I sense immense irony and hilarity to find disgust in the implied depictions of sexual related material (natural) but not the walking rotten corpses with brains and guts flopping out (unnatural or supernatural). Nor the guys getting their skulls bashed in with eyeballs and brain matter oozing out or cannibalism/mutilation.

tfw half the discussions around here involve rape and wanting clem to have sex

  • I dont think anyone is comparing periods to gore here or finding periods in general gross. Whats gross is its a bunch of older people being obsessed with a young girl having a period. Some people argue how its suppose to show Clem maturing ect, which is fine, but the fact there was a huge demand of "I NEED A SCENE WHERE CLEM HAS A PERIOD" is just very odd and a bit disturbing. Didnt see anyone saying they needed Gabe popping boners and asking Javi why sometimes he wakes up with sticky pants, probably because it seems most people who asked Clem to have her period also want a Clem sex scene or even rape scene.

  • I'm really hoping TellTale doesn't go with a rape storyline for the sole reason that I'm really tired of child rape discussions in the forums. It's truly a distressing event for anyone to endure much less children.

But AJ wasn’t around for the card game, and she was happy then...until the end where the personal question upsets her. Keep in mind if you choose Lee, it happened over 7-9 years ago and it still saddens her, therefore she HAS been sad this season so I don’t think it has anything to do with being strong for AJ.

Furthermore when she goes outside of the school to clear the traps area, without AJ, she’s still quite cheerful

  • Btw lots of people complain about these rape theories. For fuck sake we're not coming up with these because we want it to happen, but because it is a common subject and the fact she had such intense recurring nightmares even tho she's tough, kind of hints at it: I mean rape is probably female's biggest nightmare fuel.

  • Her nightmares could be from something else, like a giant can of peaches and beans chasing her.

  • This is just fucking weird. I'm telling the mods on all you guys.
