One thing this game has lacked
One thing I have found lacking in walking dead is war there been a few wars in the comic and TV show but not in the game the closest thing I can think off was anf but that was more off an out off control fight should there be a war in the final season

Ehh I don't really like the idea.
In the TV show it was pretty shitty and I haven't read the comics so I can't say for those but I don't think it's really fitting for the games
The group vs group is always the weakest shit in the Walking Dead so I hope they dont fall into doing that again.
Wars are not the narrative focus or strong points of the series for good reason. It's best if they keep to the current format opposed to trying to handle a full scale war series.
A long group battle would not fit the pace of this game. And from the trailer, it seems that Clem is forced into submitting/leaving the school very quick. And Lilly most likely has good combat strategy from being in and airforce and from 8 years of having to rely of those skills in confrontations with other groups. She was able to quickly outsmart the bandits that raided the motor in though everyone else was held at gunpoint and get almost everyone out unscathed . What makes you think she has lost her touch?
If anything, she's even more skilled and now more ruthless and experienced in the apocalypse.
Clem and a group of directionless kids have no chance against that.
It hasn't been adequately set up yet. They need to introduce three or four Giant communities and their dynamics with each other before that can work at all. I thought A New Frontier might have seen a conflict involving the New Frontier and Wellington, because that would have fit, but that's not how it worked out. And this being the final season, I can't see it ever happening.
Wars can only be conducted on a level between organized groups thatlasts more than one battle. That’s not what the game focuses on, but there are still exciting battles and that’s all there needs to be.
Last time a war idea was included the whole next finale got rewritten
In episode 4 of ANF they hyped me for a war, the characters themselves said so..
So no.
The comics did it very well, it didn’t overstay its welcome and went straight to the point. Not dwelling on the situation inside the Sanctuary helped with the pacing.
ANF was clearly meant to have a war between Joan & Clint's men, David's remaining followers(assuming it isn't just Ava, Gabe, Shades-Chick, and possibly Max here), the random knights on horseback, ANF!Clementine's mentioned friends(both within the New Frontier and the exiles of Old Richmond), and Javier's combined allies of the Prescottites, some of David's followers, and the people of New Richmond and possibly Old Richmond who don't trust Joan anymore, but that ended up not actually happening.
The true thing this season lacks is more original scores.. I mean there’s a Marlon, Violet and Louis’s themes and that is the only thing new I heard in my playthrough
The key thing this game lacks is Eddie as a main character.
