Although this is likely the way things are going to go down. There is no sense in pouring salt on the wound and pretending to be involved when you're not. So either display evidence that you were on the team, or just go away.
To be fair, now former employees may be legally forbidden from releasing any specific information so are forced to release things anonymously, at which point you have to choose to believe it on faith or not.

They work on every episode until the very last week of or week before release.
They fired all their walking dead staff, the only staff that are still there are the ones working on the netflix deal.
They haven’t announced the cancelation because they don’t want it to effect the press on episode 2 which will get released. The employees were overworked recently to get the episode done. They weren’t even paid over time. Then they were fired.
You need to pay attention to wording. The statement said they were gonna continue to work on obligations to board and partners. They said nothing about obligations to fans. Their obligations to their board is to make as much money as possible.
And how is cancelling a game mid-season (which will force them to refund all those who purchased the season pass) fall into line with your "make as much money as possible" obligation?

Their obligations to their partners (Netflix) is to make the games they were contractually obligated to make. Netflix already confirmed that their stupid Minecraft project was moving forward. There's only 25 people left in the company and not all will be devs capable of actually working on games. If the few devs they do have are busy with Netflix's Minecraft bullshit, who is gonna finish TFS?
You are not the board and you are not their partners.
Those 25 people will be busy with their obligations while winding down the company. Why should they even bother with The Final Season at this point?
But hey, let's just scream FAKE NEWS some more. Because everything you don't like has to be Fake News, can't be otherwise.
I was Season Lead Designer on the series. I can’t prove it without telling you facts about the rest of the episodes because that stuff is still the property of who the hell knows.
There is already an official statement.

Again, as I've said elsewhere, they're probably trying to see if they can legally keep the preorder money before they announce the cancellation. Even if they have to give refunds, as I understand it TFS didn't sell that many copies, maybe 100k, which is like 2 million dollars. If you're paying 150 people 60k per year (low ball), that's 5k per month, each. At that rate, it'd cost 2.25 million to finish the game so even if they have to give full refunds, they're still saving a quarter million, though probably more since most of them probably make more than 60k.

look, the thing is, no one knows who you are, so just anonymously posting as some insider isn't helping, its just making more people upset because no one can figure out if you're serious or just some troll having a field day.
but i don't buy the 'i cant tell you what we were planning because legal stuff', what about season pass owners, we paid for that property in good faith it was coming, so screw them, and if your keeping your identity hidden, why does it matter what you reveal 'Season Lead Designer' voidghost?

Tuesday morning, just after episode 2 goes live, post spoilers for the end of the episode. If you were really part of the team you'll be accurate and posting after the release means you're not breaking any NDA since it'll be released, but you have to do it fast enough that there's no way you could be some rando that just played through the episode. Like, within the first 15 to 30 minutes of episode 2 being released. Anything after that and it'll cast doubt on the credibility.

I'll go one step further. If VoidGhost wants to prove his/her legitimacy, PM me the whole story of Episode 2. Start, to finish. And on Tuesday if you were right, I will screen shot the PM and show everyone you were legit.
Offer stands until Sunday, since leaks and videos will likely come out on Monday.

Hey guys, you don’t know me, but yes we’re cancelled. You would have loved the ending and we would have loved to give it to you.
Yeah we don’t know if it is cancelled. Her tweet can be a glimmer of hope or the complete opposite.
We were cancelled.
She’s not the lead writer for Ep2 or Ep3 though
Ahh okay gotcha
How we know you’re legit?
Well we have to wait and see first.
And who is that? Random twitter posts mean nothing to most of us because we don't know who these people are.
She’s the lead writer for ep2, the last one we can put out.
Sorry, I meant to say Ep3 and Ep4. Apologies
VoidGhost. Clearly not a troll and lying about their identity. Lol.
Are you serious?
True, but if she is a part or formerly a part of telltale then it’s not all concerning.

stfu
Yes.
What was the ending? Make a thread about it
Can you at least give us evidence that you were an employee?
He has none. He's just a troll spreading fake news and trying to rile up a fuss.
Yeah unless I see Telltale employee next to his name then I’m not buying it.

Lets ignore that troll guys.
"anonymously"
By posting them on Telltale's forums.
You might be right, but that guy is almost assuredly NOT former staff.

Pretty sure episode 3 and 4 aren’t ever coming.

you enjoying your day, troll?
I just got finished drinking with the rest of the team saying goodbye, so no I’m not happy.
Yeah... where else would they post anonymous info? The Bethesda forums? Twitter? Why? Post it here where more people that care will actually see it.
Going to be a real bitch not to get the finale of this story.
Im sorry my fault ignore this

And it started off so guuuuuud.
I’m just saying I won’t believe it until the CEO has made the final call. Once that happens, I’ll accept any answer he gives.

I would believe your fakenews rant but the twitter tweet that you posted to back up those allegations of fakery has been taken down.
