And how is cancelling a game mid-season (which will force them to refund all those who purchased the season pass) fall into line with your "make as much money as possible" obligation?

Their contract with Netflix for some Minecraft bullshit, which Netflix already confirmed is still going forward. If their meager 25 employees, all of whom wouldn't be devs anyway, are working on Minecraft, that leaves no one else to work on TFS

Assuming that doesn’t happen, I just wanted to say how much fun I’ve had on these forums over the years. While I’ve only had this account for a little while, I had another account that I started back when the first season started. I was 12 back then. I’m 18 now and I’ve spent far too many hours on these forums when I should have been doing homework. It’s been a fun ride and despite the unspeakably tragic way this is all ending, I will always cherish the memories I’ve had playing The Walking Dead, Back to the Future, Poker Night, The Wolf Among Us, Tales From the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, Minecraft, Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman. But most of all, I’m going to miss arguing over Gabentine shipping threads, Kenny/Jane, A New Frontier, cut content, and seeing some seriously funny memes. I’m not good with goodbyes, so I leave you with this:

Again, as I've said elsewhere, they're probably trying to see if they can legally keep the preorder money before they announce the cancellat… moreion. Even if they have to give refunds, as I understand it TFS didn't sell that many copies, maybe 100k, which is like 2 million dollars. If you're paying 150 people 60k per year (low ball), that's 5k per month, each. At that rate, it'd cost 2.25 million to finish the game so even if they have to give full refunds, they're still saving a quarter million, though probably more since most of them probably make more than 60k.

It's a whole big thing, but basically he turned Telltale into a quantity over quality company by trying to push out as many releases as possible, overworking employees and often meddling in the projects. He finally got fired recently, but then he later sued Telltale so that obviously didn't help their financial situation.
