Just because one news source likes to give fake news doesn't mean it's not cancelled.
Btw if it is I want a refund and the scripts for episode 3 and 4 we at least should know how it ends.

I said it in another discussion thing earlier and I'll say it again. I wouldn't trust the news about the final season being canceled right now, I want to hear the statement from telltale themselves. But what I do wish to happen now is that they combine episodes 3 and 4 into one episode and release it in the future. I just made this up and it is unconfirmed if my theory is true. I really hope it is, or that they stick to releasing the episodes originally because I want to see my Clem's story end because having her story canceled is a lot worse than her dying.
It hasn't been confirmed that the season has been cancelled however Nikki Wrap said that it seems like we're only getting two episodes, Emily Buckshot said that we shouldn't hold our breath for episode 3 and 4 and now there's only 25 people behind it, I highly doubt that they can get it done or at the very least done on time.
But I'm calling it fake news because it simply hasn't been confirmed. Do I want it to be cancelled? No. But I doubt it's going to be finished at this rate.
Getting the scripts would be interesting given I have always wondered what the heck they look like... but having the episodes finished after however long the reduced team needs would be better. A rushed mess would arguably be as bad as not getting those episodes at all.

What's funny is that I bought the whole season, thinking Telltale would never get bankrupt. Damn what a waste of money.
Although obviously it is more terrible for the employees who got laid of, damn I wonder if it was inevitable or if Telltale "bosses" just sucked ass and made terrible decisions.
Same dude. I know, logically, I shouldn't be as depressed as I am but Telltale has been such a huge part of my life since I was a teenager. Its closure is almost as painful as one of my family members dying.
Same mate, I love being drunk but hate hungovers, the only alcohol taste I can tolerate is beer.
I feel like I just a lost a childhood friend with the fall of Telltale, I hope someone picks up their legacy.
What’s gonna happen if it does get canceled? I mean we paid for 4 episodes. If we dont get 4 episodes everyone who paid for TFS legally dese… morerves a refund or partial refund. I just wanted an end for Clementine’s story, Skybound better fucking swoop this up and finish the project or something. If not I will personally believe that the series ended at S2.
Honestly, I'd recommend some of us get off the forums for a few days considering the conflicting reports and how we're not gonna get any legitimate news until Monday at the very least. Sticking around torturing ourselves isn't gonna benefit anyone. That's what I'm probably gonna do for the sake of my mental health.
To be honest I find more relieved to share my mood and thought with people here in this community than getting off from the forum completely and doing different things. Right now I feel better staying here than in some other places.

Then someone is getting in severe legal trouble...
Change how the game is advertised after people have bought it? how legal.

I agree
We need the script for the other episodes
Agree
"Fake news"
Are you serious? Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's fake. It's obvious that it's real.

Well if they still intend to release the whole thing they'd better let us know sooner rather than later, the steam rating is dropping rapidly..

What the fuck, man?
tfw at the end of episode 2, there's a powerpoint saying "Clementine and AJ dies, the end."
I legitimately got drunk last night to ease the pain of all of this. Fuck, do I have issues.
Don't do like Kenny please.
I cutted myself

I don't like the taste of alcohol and hate dealing with hangovers. So trust me, I won't.

Telltale can't get in legal trouble if they don't even exist (points to head)
Hehe.
real question here.
Are telltale uh...urbans?
