There is a chance that episode 3 and maybe episode 4 will be released.
Comment from a former employee on Reddit: ''Most of the work is done for those episodes, I don't see why EP3 won't release but it all hinges if Telltale lives long enough to be able to release them.''
Also: ''Yeah EP2 is set for release this Tuesday, I highly expect EP3 and EP4 to be released as well.''
Parts of Ep3 and 4 that are left to finish: Voice Acting, revisions, QA, etc.
Edit: Sorry, I obviously meant chance

Thanks.
The lack of evidence that this redditor is a former employee is a bit troubling, but the AMA gives me a bit more optimism.
Well if I were a former dev that got laid off instantly, I'd create an account on Reddit to explain everything and give hints
Tbf, he stated that he doesn't have his employee ID anymore which for some reasons people find suspicious. I mean, why? When you're fired from work like that you're asked to leave your company ID and any items given to you by said company. I mean sure, it might be fake but what he said is a common practice.
The only parts that need to be finished are Voice Acting, revisions, QA, etc. That's what he said. So there's hope.
There must be a reason why they won't release them( I mean ep 3 and 4).
I don't think that they have done most of the ep 3 and 4 jobs.
If they had done it, so why they're taking so long to release it? Look at the dates they will release. The near one is more than 2 months.
We all can only hope.
Polishing. Polishing takes a lot of time to get the game running as smooth as possible.
No, you would be more concerned about how you are going to pay your bills next month than you would be about a bunch of crying fans.
That AMA is very likely just a scam. The guy said he doesn't have his "telltale employee ID" anymore so he can't show the proof.
Yeah. As much as I really wanna believe that this is true, it's probably just a troll trying to spread false hope. I've said it a million times in the past day, but I'll say it again: We should avoid jumping to conclusions until we get an official statement from Pete.
Considering its 2 months until the next episode is initially suppose to release, I don't know if Telltale will be functioning at minimum capacity.
I don’t kno why people are worried because TellTale has now 25 to finish the game.. Season 1 had 80 people working on it - and yes it is now currently less than half of it but Keep in mind that they are just polishing the episodes, they probably have done the developing stuff which probably could need 100~ people to do so but they are just doing their last touches on the game which can be done by 10 people at least.
A scammer scams the victim to get money from them. The guy doesn't get any money or other valuable things by doing this, so why would he take the time to post those comments, if he wasn't a employee?
Attention.
Because of rumors everywhere that these 25 people are working only on netflix minecraft and that they're done after that.
Well Pete needs to get off his ass and give an official statement then cuz I'm ready to bust a nut.
Yay minecraft, why does that still exist anyway?
a lot of devs have implied that Episode 3 and 4, whilst they are in development, are not in the polishing stage just yet. Many long-time fans will know how much development happens before release, even just one week before there is development. This game runs on a 6-week development cycle, but the bare-bones of the writing is done before. This means that TT knows the ending. So no, it's not possible. Such a dumb frickin ending. Just... so dumb. This isn't doing justice to Clementine!!
Fuck Netflix with stupid and cliche teen movies and minecraft
Yeah guy looks completely fake, they just closed the AMA
Ignored every question asking to prove if was who he says he was, but he seemed well spoken and acted like he really knew what he was talking about so i think we all fell for it for a second
"I can’t talk anything from a business standpoint, I was just part of Creative. The 25 person skeleton crew being on the Minecraft thing and no one left to finish out the rest of the season thing is true.
Anything’s possible, but the doors are shut, and everyone that would have loved to tell you the rest of the story legally can’t."
From the Season 4 Lead Design himself
https://www.reddit.com/user/mkirkbride
Could easily be another scam..just no one from telltale themselves has commented only people claiming to be members (why not put whatever his name is, and say lead designer mkirkbride) lol
In the actual Reddit (where’s his proof)
...
There was an AMA?
Unplanned and unofficial, which turned out to be fake according to one of the former employees, who managed to confirm his identity.
Dude, we are REALLY not in the mood for any high-horse-guilt-tripping bullshit right now. If you're a troll, you might want to move on, as your life will be in genuine physical danger if you stay on this forum.
Ignore him, he has been banned already.
Woah, that's not okay to say man. Hes being disrespectful but don't make threats like that.
And it's okay for him to be disrespectful? We're all primed to explode here, and he should have known that. Or if he did, he just didn't care, because he wanted to get a rise out of people.
You know what's not okay? Defending a troll. Lecturing me about bad behavior is like a schoolteacher lecturing the student who turned around to yell at the kid who kept firing spitballs at the back of his head.
Telltale is not bankrupt
That's a bit overkill. I know Telltale is basically dead but let's not make comments like that.
Making threats online will only land you in danger, do you want authorities to show up at your door? Because stuff like that will happen if you keep it up.
Is it true that you basically own the forum now, blind?
Episode 4 is not going to happen, sadly. They only have it written. That means they need the VAs to record, animate it, edit it, test it...
Besides, TWD team and it’s devs we’re fired yesterday. Telltale, as of now, doesn’t have the money to hire new devs and work on the game.
Who would care about quality, if they just throw the 3 and 4 ep and it's already good, the important thing is do not leave Clem without its end, this for me is what matters
