W&G GndAdv XP refuses to install due to logo
Microsoft may have come up with a kickback extortion scheme to force software developers to pay for Microsoft to go thru some fantasy about verifying the products compatibility with XP, for the user's own good of course. Implying that Microsoft is saving us from software that might not function, as if they ever cared about anything working or not, they have added a warning
"The SW you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP...Contact your system administrator."
I can only guess Microsoft has has the nerve to demand a fee from developers to allow the XP to load their software. If not, then what to heck prevents this from loading. And I am also very upset about having to activate it online to play it, as are all others apparently. The box says nothing about that! In America it is generally considered fraud.
