  • Clem is bisexual at most. She had a crush on Gabe, can kiss Violet, and during the card game she always has to say she would either marry or flip at least one guy

  • She is what ever you want her to be that's how it works.

  • Considering you can romance a man or a woman in this season, she's clearly bi.

  • Also considering many of the female writers/narrative designers of this season are bi...

  • Good grief, this thread. I am going to say once again...it is up to the player...Clem is a video game character who just stands there doing nothing without someone playing the game.

For me...she is Bi...just like me in real life. For others she is strait...and for others she chooses to save herself for the right zombie I guess.

Now a fun fact so that you all can rest easy.

Kenny's hat...everyone asks...where is it. When Clem first set eyes on Gabe...she traded it for condoms...now try and get that image out of your minds.

  • im gonna start shipping kenny's hat with clem's hat now

  • Well, Gabe wasn´t really the manliest of men and Violet isn´t really the girliest of girls, so Clem is... eh...
probably just as confused as I am right now after reading this thread.

I hate you so much right now.

    Heh..."woman"....

@EbiManami I thought she was just a disaster bisexual.

    What's the distinction?

  • Err i think the fact we are given a choice for Clem to be gay or not is enough of an answer to this thread. She is what you want her to be. Why else would we have those scenes with Louis and Violet otherwise?

  • Clementine’s sexuality is how you the player want her to be. There is no canon orientation

sexuality is complicated. plenty of gay people out there dated the opposite gender before realizing they were gay.

  • No, she's bi

  • Why the hell is this discussion not closed yet??? She is either Bi, lesbian or straight. Its up for the players to decide. Its a choice, end of discussion.

  • She is whatever the player chooses.

  • Y'all still arguing about this shit? How about, let's wait until someone who worked on that episode say if she's bi/it's up to the player and then leave it at that.

  • Sorry mate. Universal forum guidelines say that topics of sexuality, of any player character, has to be discussed non-stop for all eternity.

  • Since when has forum closure stopped people from talking about these topics? People will just migrate to Reddit.

  • Can you blame him though? I fucking hate Gabe' s voice.

How the hell can she be lesbian if she had a crush on Gabe? Did you play ANF with your eyes closed and your ears plugged?

  • Nope.

She is whatever the player chooses.

  • It doesn't matter.

  • Actually, yes she is.

  • Uh, yeah. If she's bi for you, than that version of her is bi. Mine however is straight, so that version is straight. Therefore, it's determined by the player.

  • Clem's bi, for everyone, it's that simple. Sexuality is not a choice.

In the real world, no it's not a choice. In a game based on choices, yes it is. There are certain parts of her character that aren't up for debate and are canon, her sexuality is not one of them. None of my choices have ever reflected a bi Clem. As I stated earlier, being presented with a choice does not, in and of itself, constitute her being bi. The choices we make determine who she is, not the ones we don't.

  • It's the same with video games as it is in real life. You choose who to romance, not their sexuality.

  • No it's not. It's a role playing game. Your choice of romance can determine anything you want it to, unless the content within the game states otherwise regardless of choice.

It's the same concept in Dragon Age 2, the difference between that and TFS is that for DA2 it's confirmed by the developers that Hawke (main character) has the sexuality you wish. I don't think any telltale staff have stated what we should think for Clementine yet.

If you had her be as such, then sure. Mine is not and nothing in my game has ever reflected an interest in girls. There has nothing Clem has non-determinantly said or done that indicates bisexuality.

  • When it comes to sexuality it is. It's completely different from personality and other choices.

  • Okay then, tell me what non-determinant scene in the game shows Clem being bisexual?
