Do you guys think Minerva will be an ally or an enemy?
I think she'll be an enemy. She's probably hardened and changed a lot from the war. Maybe she likes it in Delta. Or she'll spin you a story on how Delta are the good guys in the war. Maybe she'll be distant towards everyone. But I safetly say that if she tries to get back with Violet; I'm gonna ice that bitch. P.s we all know Minerva is alive, but is Sophie dead? I'm thinking so.

Well, considering the typical romance/LGBT stigmas, ancient name association, and the character design...
I really fuckin hope Sophie didn't get the short end of the stick.
If I've learned anything about trust and betrayal in this series then she's going to be an enemy. Lilly might even tell her to pretend to be on our side and then stab us in the back. She's been at the Delta for a year, we can't trust her.
I was thinking the same thing about how she's been in Delta for a whole year as well. She had that much time to escape and get back to the school. Clem got taken by Carver and was made to do work for them, but she didn't give up on breaking out of Howe's and was able to do so within three days (I think that's the right amount of time it took). Granted, it was mostly influenced by Kenny's headstrong stubbornness.
I feel like we will have the option to call her out on how she could've escaped and gone back to the school at any time, but she chose to stay and leave Violet and her brother Tenn behind.
Speaking of Vi, if she knew that Minnie chose not to come back to her, like everyone else did as she put it, that may cause a serious strain in what their relationship used to be. I don't even know what Tenn is gonna do.
So yeah, to answer the question of this thread, I hate to say it, but I think she will become our enemy.
I'm going to take every dialogue option I can to make the group cautious and wary of Minnie, especially Tenn. Tenn gave himself up to Lilly because he was naive and it resulted in Mitch dying, that shit cannot happen again. Tenn is a good kid but he's going to have to harden himself for the fight that's about to happen.
that's his sister tho. wouldn't he have her back over anyone else regardless which side she chooses?
Not if she's completely changed and is now on board with kidnapping all of his friends.
I'm not looking forward to dealing with the whole Minuuuuuuurrrrrrvvvva thing. You can already tell she's going to attempt to steal Clem's shine. Look who's back type deal. Oh please....
It's extremely cold to say, but at this point plot wise i'd prefer that type of altercation would be avoided. It just lets the bonds pre existing with the current group grow more instead of wither and die because "Hey look, Minnie is back, let's kiss her ass and throw a party and Clem is now shit". Not feeling it.
Enemy. And also she will romance the one who you did not save at the end of ep2
Might be entering spoiler territory here, but I think her reasoning may be that she
recognized the threat of the opposing faction for what it is and stayed true to the Deltas precisely to protect her little brother and other friends from them. And protecting them from knowing how much she's lost herself.

I think she's more likely to be an enemy, considering that we were given the choice to romance Violet. If Minnie turns out to be an ally, she will complicate Violet and Clem's relationship.
Most likely an enemy. I'd be surprised if she was an ally right out the gate. Ever since we got to that school, her presence has been lingering in the memories of Marlon, Tenn, and Violet. We even got her room. Needless to say, she's had a pretty big build up to this point. Hopefully, they do her justice.

I think she'll be an ally. Maybe a little wary at first because back when it first happened, she would have had every hope of being rescued and may have become bitter and resentful when she learnt that wasn't happening (which would have helped the change in personality). Violet was her girlfriend and Ten is her brother. I can't see her turning on them. She might be a bitter at first but once she learns that Marlon hid the truth and told them they were dead, I think she'll understand and be willing to help.
Let's be honest, she could have told Lily and co where Ericsons was, but she didn't or they would have found them way before Clem came along. Lily didn't let Minerva come along for a reason. That has to mean something.
I get vibes that at first she's going to be full delta, however eventually sides with Clem and co espeically considering Violet and Tenn are on Clem's side.

While she'll very likely still have a fondness for the school group ( Tenn of course, and Violet though not as strongly as before ), they could easily have her side with Delta if the other group they've been fighting was responsible for the death of Sophie while they spent the year fighting there.
True, but Clem and AJ weren't that far from the safe zone when they encountered them. Even if Minerva didn't tell them (which she had a whole year to do), it was only going to be a matter of time before they found the school.
Maybe the reason Minerva didn't escape was because she just couldn't escape.
Because why wouldn't she have told them sooner? The raiders found Clem just past the safe zone. It wouldn't be too hard to retrace the steps from there.
