What's good is that they didn't kill him, yeah i don't know if the movies are gonna be good, but i'd rather have him alive somewhere than him dying,i mean yeah he was ready to go,but it's just not right.
Meh, that’s what headcanon’s for. If Rick died, I was ready to have the cut off point somewhere between Rick and co reaching Alexandria and before Negan’s debut...
Well if it comes to me I'm not just cuting what I don't like. I cut something I see a real big bullshit. And if Rick Grimes will only be a cash magnet for AMC then it can be safe to say that he died in that explosion.

We'll just have to wait and see. We won't know anything till the time comes. And besides, Andrew Lincoln will still play Rick, so at least that's a good thing.
I want him to be still a good character. That being said - I don't want AMC to pull off some suckass story about him with lame excuse about … morehim not coming back to his family for 6 years. Rick Motherfucking Grimes would do absolutely everything to come back to Michonne, Daryl and Judith. And as we see - he isn't back. What could have honestly stop him since AMC confirmed that he will be alive in all the three movies?
I think that those movies could suck and be simple cashgrabbers. I'd rather have my boi Rick go out in such a great way like in 9x05 than have him turn out to be a complete failure that will destroy my view on his character.
And his character - even though show had its worse and better moments - was always on point. Was always great and spectacular.
As I stated before. It will be good as long as the story will be good. And I do have a sneeky fucking feeling that they will make Rick's story a total garbage there.

He there is as good as dead, because he left it FOR GOOD.
We really don’t know that. They could bring him back for the shows last season or something. I know they said he’s not coming back but why would they say anything else? Him coming back would be a huge spoiler so of course they would say something like that.
And tell me what exactly changes for the show? He there is as good as dead, because he left it FOR GOOD. All of them think he is dead and he… more basically is dead to the show at this point. There will be three movies about him? Good. I hope that they will be good, but I doubt it. I hope that they will give fans Rick & Daryl & Michonne & Judith reunion. Even if it would be just few minutes for it.
Me keeping in mind that Michonne, Daryl and Judith think he is dead and it is already 6 years and he still didn't find his way back... yeah, that kills me from inside.

If they will destroy his character in those movies then you will wish that they killed him at that point.
