So after Rick's helicopter escape last week, we get a 6 year time jump, very interesting. Season 9 has been pretty good so far, and I hope that it gets better. Some cool stuff coming up...

So wait, at first TFS was the farthest down the timeline, but not it is the show? I’m confused, didn’t the show already pick up after a year long timeskip?
It's going to take a while to get used to not seeing Andrew Lincoln's name in the credits.
Uhhhhhhhhhhh what is with the Season 9 and Father Gabriel.
Pretty good episode overall, I think? I like Richonne baby, Judith, some actual tension stuff, cool teases for things to come.
So my TV froze after Carol burned those guys... Can someone please describe what happened in the show after that?
i really like the part where the ladder falls and instead of just calling for Rossita to fix the ladder thatll take a whole 10 seconds Eugene just drops a yeet and decides to throw himself 10 feet instead
Me: I’m not liking this new hippie Carol, she’s too soft.
Me 5 minutes later: THERE SHE IS!!! HOLY HELL THAT WAS AWESOME!!!
I also really loved Judith and Negan’s little math lesson conversation, it’s just so funny to see Negan acting like that and I got a huge kick out of it.
So Rick and Michonne had a baby? Certainly an interesting twist that I’m interested in seeing what they’ll do with that.
A lot of seeds were sown in this episode it see s that we’ll get answers to later. Like Daryl just being off on his own, why the communities seem to have fallen apart, how Michonne got that “X” scar on her back, etc.
And by far the dumbest thing from this episode: Father Gabriel and Rosita?! Just, what in the ever living fuck was that and where did it come from? I’m not even going to lie, this accurately sums up my reaction.
Seriously, where did it come from. I know 6 years have passed, but SOME build up would be nice. Hell, even Clem and Gabe had scenes of them at least talking, albeit briefly, to each other, it had some development...poor development, but development nonetheless. Did Rosita and Gabriel ever have more than 3 conversations with each other, and were they ever implying something more between them before this? I am so confused by this decision.
Do we see any whisperers tonight?
Good timing, my satellite decided to fuck up. Oh well.
Besides Father Gabesita, sick episode. Judith is awesome. I've never seen the actor who played Magna in anything before, but she's killin it. Totally capturing that Magna spirit. Michonne going a little Rick-crazy is pretty cool. (I mean this as in the form of ptsd Rick(comic) gets when he loses someone close.)
Giving Henry Carl's story is ok, I guess. We'll see how his new actor does. I liked Henry before, but they're kinda making him too soft after he killed Gavin. I just hope and pray this doesn't mean Lydia is coming.
Hearing the Whisperers at the end got me excited.
Unfortunately Lydia is coming and it seems like Henry is gonna get Carl's storyline..
Ick. If they have Jesus kill all those Whisperers and take her, then I guess that's fine. That scene in the comics was really awesome, and one of the reasons I love Jesus. I think his tv counterpart can use an influx in badassery. Also, the way Lydia gave up was pretty cool. Not to mention one of my favorite TWD lines:
"You can talk-- let's see how fast you run!" - Jesus(comic)
Random fact: the actor who plays the older Henry, Matt Lintz, is the older brother of the actor who played younger Henry, Macsen Lintz, in Seasons 7 and 8. Macsen and Matt Lintz’s sister, meanwhile, is Madison Lintz, who played Sophia in Seasons 1 and 2.
A great episode to be honest. I already had tears in my eyes in the first minutes when even after all those years Michonne and Daryl still couldn't accept that Rick is gone. Then I had tears in my eyes again when Judith said that she is forgetting Rick and Carl.
It was also weird to not see "Andrew Lincoln" in the intro for the first time ever. The whole episode was generally good and I'm really suprised because I was sure that the show without him is unsaveable and actually this season is great so far. I can't say the same about Seasons 7 and 8 that had too much fillers, but this season is very good.
Magna's group is interesting as I thought it would be, but I didn't expect them to make Magna so ruthless. Like c'mon, she was about to kill Michonne. In Comic Series she and her people only questioned Andrea about the place and that was it. Negan and Judith' relationship will grow in next episodes and that's good because she will make him better man.
And the ending. Oh man that ending was so awesome. There cerinately is a future without Andrew Lincoln, but I still won't accept the fact that he is gone from the show. With him I think that this season would actually be perfect. Like imagine his speech with this "So we will silence The Whisperers, once and for all!".
Does anyone else also think that Michonne has been to prison before? I mean she knew about the prison tattoos, and she has that scar on her back, which could have been given to her in prison. Just something to think about I guess...
Well, she was AT a prison, although not necessarily as a prisoner, although that scar, that did interest me. I initially thought it was a C-section scar, then I realized that that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
I wonder if it has to do with whatever they were alluding to, how Alexandria is different now.
