All joking aside the TV show has been shit for 5 seasons now. Be lucky if 10 people will stay awake long enough to see your character.
I'd invent a character that invents an anticdote to cure the outbreak. Her name would be Ashley. A awkward but smart girl around Clems age. Brilliant chemist and nurse. But she becomes mad with power and greed and keeps the cure secret to manipulate people for money or black mail. "Your bitten brother dies if you dont ____" type thing.
Highly doubt that.
