Is Jesus overrated in the show and comics?
I've been watching his episodes since he appeared on the show, and I don't understand it? Why do the fans love him so much? He's just so boring, most of his scenes are filler imo.

He's way better in the comics.
He's much better in the Comics/Game. Gimple wrote him that way in the show because he doesn't want anyone outshining his beloved Daryl & Carol.

He's underrated as hell in the show....hopefully we will see his true badass form soon as seen in the teasers.
Nah, he's overrated in the comics as well, haven't been able to sit through ANF so not sure how he is there but I imagine it's not too great.
Truth is, he had a kickass introduction in the comics (indeed probably a bit too kick ass) and was held in high regard by basically everybody. He worn out his welcome pretty quickly though, like in the second volume he was introduced lol. Then post time skip he was made gay just for some attempt to give him development, that whole situation was handled pretty sloppily really. He started out as some blank slate ninja and that only hurt him character wise in the long run.
Funnily enough, he's one of the characters who's characterization isn't getting butchered lately, probably because there wasn't much of a character there to begin with.
All that being said, I'd still recommend reading the issues he's in pre time skip (All out war pt 1/2) as it makes for a lot of cool panels.
He's terrible in the show. First, he wants to kill the Saviors; convincing Rick to help him attack the outpost. Then Jesus all of a sudden doesn't want to kill the Saviors? And I'm just throwing it out there; the savior in show who pissed himself was so so so so so so so fucking stupid
