Unfortunately, not right now due to personal stuff. But I did just finish the Daud DLCs. Great stuff, especially the second one.

me playing deck nines wolf 2 and within the first 3 minutes Bigby goes up to talk to someone on the streets, the camera stays behind his back, and the NPC's lips don't move as they stare off into a wall and say "Whoa, watch out! It looks like Bigby Wolf is among us!"
    (

  • It is official for me to say Dishonored replaced The Walking Dead as my favorite game of 2012.

  • At least we know they're alive.
They've posted the spring sale off.
STILL no signs of wolf 2 though.

Dude, every time we post about Wolf 2 it gets a ton of attention! Just to post it! No events, no payments or anything! Like this thing kind of sells itself! All we gotta do is keep focused on Wolf 2 and we'll be fine! Its like our own golden goose!

Our own golden goose? Dude! I know exactly what we should do with it!

  • Put the golden goose in a glass case on the other side of a gorge. But with some air holes, so we can smell how tasty it must be.

Telltale halfway through their microwave dinner (expanse) when they realize they literally cooked their golden goose 3 fucking years ago and never even ate it

  • I think SILENCE IS A VALID OPTION here basically means the developers are actually dead and can't give us nothing about wolf 2 news or progress.

  • Telltale needs to stand trail for choosing all the silent options. I have gathered every single evidence that proves their incompetence and lack of care for their own community.

I now sentence telltale to 6 years behind bars, till further evidence shows telltale is worth a second chance.
Ps:6 years since first announcement of wolf 2.

  • I've been suspicious of them then... I'm suspicious of them now.

  • Is this the longest Telltale has been radio silent?

  • Don't cry little Wolf fan! Uncle Telltale's got enough Wolf 2 delays to last you your entire life! Jerry! Bring on the Bigby standing in an empty room screenshots ASAP! The boy's hungry!

  • Were the web team also laid off? The forums have as much stability as a house of cards.

    Did the website poop itself

  • I would not be surprised.

  • I opened a ticket because been unable to login, no response.. Wonder if there're hiring backend devs 😓

Hi all! I (unofficially) speculate part of the forum issues may be due to the large size of this thread. Later on, I’ll see if I can split this thread into multiple smaller ones. (No posts will be lost/deleted/etc., just moved into separate threads.)

Maybe, like - for each year of posts here, they can be split into their own threads? (Example: Whatever 2013 Part 1, Whatever 2013 Part 2, Whatever 2014 Part 1, etc., and lesser active years can be shared in one thread)

That might help with forum performance. If not, then… whelp. I tried.

Going forward, Whatever's On Your Mind will be split up into smaller chunks to try and improve forum performance. I've split all the posts from shortly before Telltale relaunched, all the way up to present day, into a new thread.

Neat stats of Whatever's On Your Mind Megathread history:

    • 6.6 Million Views (from October 30, 2015 to March 21, 2025)
    • 186746 posts (from August 27, 2013 to March 21, 2025)
    • 4669 pages (from August 27, 2013 to March 21, 2025)
    • First Post Date: August 27, 2013 (However, various chat threads like this existed before! The pre Walking Dead-era Telltale forum crowd made similar threads like this; but as smaller threads instead of one megathread...)
    • Original Megathread open for: 11 years, 6 months, 22 days (4224 days!!!)

When I feel like getting around to it, I will split older Whatever threads into years (or maybe half-years/quarters).

If there is any interest, I can look into creating an "archive" thread that links to individual split threads. As of now, all of the old Whatever posts from when Telltale relaunched are still (currently) in the old thread, but they will soon be split. (I just don't feel like doing a ton all at once)

  • Forums seem to be performing better for you guys? How does it seem so far?

  • dojo32161dojo32161 Moderator

Yeah, the site just automatically loaded for me, without any shenanigans, seems better already, lmao

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! We were soo close to reaching 5000 pages, you fools!

Except not. Much better to have a PS5 performance on this ghost town.

  • @Blind Sniper after saving the forums:

  • I’m curious as to the extent of how far reaching the improvements go.

Do the forums seem to no longer be doing that glitch where it sometimes acts as if you are temporarily logged out?

  • Thread so big we had to split it in two, Bruner would've been proud.

  • Thank you blind, the unfunny jokes have been saved!

Now edit your comment on the other thread so the final comment is something profound like "Man I love Telltale games!"

  • Still having occasional slowness and temporarily-logged-out problems for me. Sorry.

  • Yeah, I noticed a little after as well. :/

For what it’s worth, I can probably split off more of the old posts into more mini threads. Not that I’m sure if it helped any or not?

  • Thanks Blind, all five of us appreciate your outside-the-box thinking 🫶

  • I'm noticing something that seems to help stability is logging into account on the main site, then when your on the games section (that shows choices etc) clicking forums from there. Otherwise, I'll often get errors or stuff doesn't load.

Something more interesting I'm seeing is if I don't do that I'm occasionally redirected to https://telltale.com/account/login?rd=community which is a 404 page, so maybe related?

Also if anyone else had issues logging in, that might help you too.

All of the Trails games will finally be available in English! It took 21 years, but we're finally caught up to the Japanese releases!

  • How it feels being a Tales from the Borderlands fan in a New Tales from the Borderlands world

  • Been a while since I've been here. Along with life shit getting in the way, I've been occupied playing through the Halo series for the first time. Just finished the last of the Bungie games, Halo Reach.

I've always heard about how such an amazing series Halo is, praised for its gameplay, universe, and story...at least the Bungie games. I guess the 343 games get some flack, but I'll be seeing for myself shortly.

As for these games, consisting of the original Halo Trinity, Halo 3 ODST, and Halo Reach, I can definitely see why a lot of people are so thoroughly invested in this series. While I don't feel like it's resonating with me in the same way it has with others, I will agree that there is a lot of lore bits and worldbuilding hidden in the finer details that does maybe require playing it again, which I do intend to. For gameplay, while the games don't make drastic changes to the standard formula between entries, it is a blast for the most part. The original was bogged down by levels and maps that were dry and repetitive, a problem that drastically improved with each entry. I keep hearing that Bungie was under a lot of pressure and crunch when making these games, and it's definitely evident in the finished products (looking at you Halo 2 ending). That being said, much like how I feel about Mass Effect, it's very impressive what the developers were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. And I know that I'm not the first person to say this, but Cortana is just amazing, she is easily the best thing about these games. Everything from her personality to her relationship with Master Chief is just phenomenal and the heart of this series.

Overall, I have enjoyed myself going through these games, and it's got me interested in the universe to make me want to see and go through some of the supplemental materials. My overall rankings of the games I've played:

    1. Halo 3 ODST: I went into this with no expectations, being as it was a spinoff taking place between 2 and 3 and didn't primarily focus on Master Chief or Cortana. But holy fuck did this game surprise me. Easily my favorite of the games so far. Exploring the city at night in the aftermath of the Covenant invasion, learning about what happened to your squad, it has an almost noir feel in the atmosphere and music that brought something new and interesting to the series.
    2. Halo 2: I get the benefit of the remake version as part of the Master Chief collection, so I got it with all of the graphical and technical improvements. That being said...holy fuck is this a beautiful game to look at during the cutscenes. Everything from the original is improved from the gameplay to the story to the characters. Plus, Keith David, who plays The Arbiter, is always a massive win. But I swear to God, you ever blue ball me like that again with that ending, I will make you pay!
    3. Halo 3: From what I understand, Halo 3 is basically just Halo 2.5. They weren't able to finish the last part of Halo 2 on time, so they released 2 and basically made a whole game out of what was left. It does feel like that at times, but the stuff in the game itself is still entertaining and works. While it doesn't have that same spark (heh, get it, spark) as Halo 2, I do think it is a worthy conclusion and a satisfying ending to the trilogy. But it is definitely jarring to go from Halo 2 remake cutscenes, to Halo 3 cutscenes.
    4. Halo Reach: Some consider this the best game in the Halo series. From a gameplay perspective, yes I do agree. Like I said, they never deviated too much from the formula, but why overhaul what isn't broken. Instead the games have always just gave marginal improvements, but the ones offered here (fucking jetpacks and space battle level) do elevate it. That being said, with it being a prequel, you kind of know how the story is going to play out, so I didn't feel as invested in the characters and story as other entries. It did enough, but I won't really remember these characters after too long. Still good, but just not great like I was hoping.
    5. Halo Combat Evolved: The original game. It's definitely dated and its missions and maps are very repetitive (to the point where sometimes I just plain ran through areas to keep things moving). But it laid the foundation for what would come, and its legacy is cemented. Nothing impressive by today's standards, but an important piece in gaming history for what came after.
