Convention Activation

Bought a copy of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures at Comic Con this Friday, sent an email to support (issue-33958) on Saturday the 24th asking for the series to be reflected on my Games account tab.

Haven't heard back yet.
Checked my spam folder too, I never noticed how much spam I get... but it wasn't there.

Not a major issue for the time being, but some assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you don't buy the games online, it can't go in your games account page.

This has not been the case for every other game I own save Sam and Max season 3 and Out from Boneville.

Also, I believe Wallace and Gromit requires the Telltale DRM- not sure though

Okay, this is a bit of a problem now...

I tried starting up Grand Adventures and it would not let me begin any of the games, it was looking off my account. If this is the case then what exactly did I buy?

I did not have this problem with any of the other games, at the very least the other DVDs didn't require online activation. This is a question of the game not functioning at all.

    This is not very encouraging...

are you talking about buying them at the shops or the dvds from the telltale store?

I have bought the Telltale DVDs from the Telltale booth at Comic Con for the last three years.

This unfortunately forces me to request the games be manually added to my account. It really has been a bit superfluous until now when it is mandatory to play Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures.

It is also unfortunate as it seems support has a bit of a backlog now.

So right now I have a CD I paid $20 for that has no higher function than an ineffective paperweight.

    Feels bad, man...

welcome to the club. if you'd been reading, you would have realised how useless the dvd is.

yeah, they'll probably add the games so you can download them in the end...

Okay, this is a problem and I'm not hearing any word from anyone about this...

I really don't want to come across as unreasonable or enraged, but this is a bit of an issue that probably should be at least acknowledged.

It's not even like I can't provide proof of my purchase, I'm looking at the DVD right now.

I'm going to resubmit the support email...
Sorry if his causes any inconvenience for the staff.
